13 For the 23rd year of Je·ho′ash the son of A·ha·zi′ah wey be king of Judah, Je·ho′a·haz the son of Je′hu start to rule Israel as king for Sa·mar′i·a, and e rule for 17 years. 2 E continue to do wetin bad for Jehovah eyes, and e continue to commit the sin wey Jer·o·bo′am the son of Ne′bat make Israel people to commit. E no stop to commit the sin. 3 So Jehovah vex for Israel people no be small, and e put them for the hand of King Haz′a·el wey de rule Syria and for the hand of Ben-ha′dad the son of Haz′a·el, all the time wey them dey alive.
4 After some time, Je·ho′a·haz come de beg Jehovah make e pity them, and Jehovah listen to-am because e don see the kind suffer wey the king of Syria don suffer Israel people. 5 So Jehovah give Israel people person wey go save them and free them from the strong hand wey Syria people take hold them, this one come make Israel people fit de stay for their house like before.* 6 (But, them no stop to commit the sin wey Jer·o·bo′am family* don make Israel people commit. Them continue to commit this sin,* and the idol pole* continue to dey there for Sa·mar′i·a.) 7 The people wey remain for Je·ho′a·haz army na only 50 men wey de ride horse, 10 chariots, and 10,000 soldiers wey de use leg waka, because the king of Syria don destroy them, e march them the way them de march ground when them de separate grain from plant.
8 As for the other story about Je·ho′a·haz, everything wey e do and how e get power reach, them no write-am for the book wey talk about the things wey happen for the time of Israel kings? 9 Then Je·ho′a·haz die like im papa-papa them and them bury-am for Sa·mar′i·a; and im son Je·ho′ash start to rule as king after-am.
10 For the 37th year of King Je·ho′ash wey de rule Judah, Je·ho′ash wey be the son of Je·ho′a·haz come be king for Israel for Sa·mar′i·a, and e rule for 16 years. 11 E continue to do wetin bad for Jehovah eyes, e no stop to do all the sin wey Jer·o·bo′am the son of Ne′bat don make Israel people sin. E continue to commit this sins.*
12 As for the other story about Je·ho′ash, everything wey e do, and how e get power reach, and how e fight King Am·a·zi′ah wey de rule Judah, them no write-am for the book wey talk about the things wey happen for the time of Israel kings? 13 Then Je·ho′ash die like im papa-papa them, Jer·o·bo′am* come sitdown for im throne. And them bury Je·ho′ash for Sa·mar′i·a for where them bury the kings of Israel.
14 Now, when E·li′sha be de sick the sickness wey later kill-am, Je·ho′ash the king of Israel come down come meet-am, and e bend down for E·li′sha front de cry de talk say: “My papa, my papa! The chariot of Israel and im people wey de ride horse!” 15 Then E·li′sha tell-am say: “Carry bow and arrows.” So e carry bow and arrows. 16 Then e tell the king of Israel say: “Hold the bow for your hand.” So e hold the bow for hand, E·li′sha come put im two hand ontop the king two hand. 17 Then e talk say: “Open the window wey face the east side.” So e open-am. E·li′sha come talk say: “Shoot!” So e shoot. Then E·li′sha talk say: “Jehovah arrow wey e go use win,* the arrow wey go win Syria people! You go kill Syria people for A′phek until you kill* them finish.”
18 E still talk say: “Carry the arrows,” and e carry them. Then e tell the king of Israel say: “Nack the ground.” So e nack ground three times and stop. 19 Because of this one, the man of the true God vex for-am well-well and talk say: “You for nack ground five or six times, then you for don kill Syria people until you kill them finish. But now na only three times you go win Syria people.”
20 After this one, E·li′sha die and them bury-am. That time, for the start of every year,* Mo′ab people wey de attack other people de come the land. 21 As some men de bury one man, them see the people wey come attack, so quick-quick, them troway the man for the place wey them bury E·li′sha and run comot. When the man body touch E·li′sha bones, e come back to life and stand with im leg.
22 Now King Haz′a·el wey de rule Syria suffer Israel people the whole time wey Je·ho′a·haz de rule. 23 But, Jehovah show them favor and pity them, and e show them say e really de care for them because of the agreement wey e get with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. E no want destroy them, and e never pursue them comot from im front till today. 24 When King Haz′a·el wey de rule Syria die, im son Ben-ha′dad start to rule as king after-am. 25 Then Je·ho′ash wey be the son of Je·ho′a·haz collect the cities wey Haz′a·el be don collect from Je·ho′a·haz im papa for war, e collect them back from Ben-ha′dad the son of Haz′a·el. Na three times Je·ho′ash fight-am and win-am, and e collect the cities of Israel back from im hand.
