6 Na that time King Da·ri′us give one command, and them check the place them* wey them de keep the better-better things for Babylon. 2 And them see one scroll for the big strong house wey dey for Ec·bat′a·na, for Me′di·a area and na wetin them write for inside be this:
3 “For the first year wey King Cyrus start to rule, King Cyrus give one command about the house of God wey dey Jerusalem. E talk say: ‘Make them build the house again as the place wey them go de do sacrifice them, make the foundations dey strong; make the house high reach 60 cubits* and make e wide reach 60 cubits, 4 make e get three layers of big stones wey them de roll and one layer of timbers; and make them collect money from the king house to pay for the things wey them buy. 5 Make them still return the gold and silver containers of the house of God wey Neb·u·chad·nez′zar be carry comot from the temple wey be dey Jerusalem and wey e bring come Babylon, so that them go put them for the place wey them suppose dey for the temple for Jerusalem and make them dey the house of God.’
6 “So now, Tat′te·nai the governor of the area wey dey the Other Side of the River,* She′thar-boz′e·nai, and the people wey de work with you, the small-small governors of the areas wey dey the Other Side of the River—make una no near there. 7 Make una no disturb the work wey them de do for that house of God. The governor of the Jew people and the elders of the Jew people go build the house of God again for where e dey before. 8 Another thing be say, I de command una about wetin una go give this elders of the Jew people wey them go use build the house of God again: Make una collect money from the place wey them de keep the king money, from the tax wey una collect from the Other Side of the River, and make una give-am to this men quick-quick, so that them go continue the work make e no stop at all. 9 And anything wey them need—whether na young bulls, rams, and small-small sheep wey them go use do offerings wey them de burn to the God of heaven, wheat, salt, wine, and oil, just as the priests wey dey Jerusalem talk-am,—make una continue to give them everyday and make una no fail, 10 so that them go continue to do offerings wey the God of the heavens go like and pray for the life of the king and im sons. 11 I still de command una say if anybody no follow this law, them go pull one timber comot from im house and them go carry the person go up and hang-am for the timber and them go turn the person house to public toilet* because of this bad thing wey e do. 12 And make the God wey don put im name for there comot any king and people wey ever try-am to do anything against this command and destroy that house of God wey dey for Jerusalem. 13 Then Tat′te·nai the governor of the area wey dey the Other Side of the River, She′thar-boz′e·nai, and the people wey de work with them quick-quick do everything wey King Da·ri′us don command them. 14 And as Hag′gai wey be prophet and Zech·a·ri′ah wey be the grandson of Id′do talk wetin go happen for future, e encourage the elders of the Jew people to continue to build the house, and the work de move well. Them build the house finish because of wetin the God of Israel command them and because of wetin Cyrus and Da·ri′us and Ar·ta·xerx′es wey be king of Persia command them. 15 Them build the house finish for the third day of the month of A′dar, for the sixth year wey King Da·ri′us don de rule.
16 Then Israel people, the priests, and the Levites, and the rest of the people wey be slaves before, do the dedication of this house of God and them de happy. 17 And wetin them use do sacrifice for the dedication of this house of God na 100 bulls, 200 rams, 400 small-small sheep, and wetin them use do sin offering for all Israel people na 12 male goats and this one match the number of the tribes for Israel. 18 And them choose the priests for their groups and the Levites for their different-different groups to do the work of God for Jerusalem as them write-am for the book of Moses.
19 And the people wey be slaves before do the Passover for the 14th day of the first month. 20 All the priests and the Levites be don make theirself clean, so all of them dey clean. Them kill the animal for the Passover sacrifice for all the people wey be slaves before, for the other priests, and for theirself. 21 Then Israel people wey come back from where them be slaves before chop-am, together with everybody wey join them and wey be don comot hand from the dirty things wey the nations of the land de do, to worship* Jehovah the God of Israel. 22 Them still do the Festival of Bread Wey No Get Yeast for seven days and them de happy because Jehovah make them happy, and e make the king of As·syr′i·a get better mind for them and this one make-am help them* for the work of the house of the true God wey be the God of Israel.
