E build altars for the idols of Ba′al and make idol poles,* and e bow down to all the stars for the heavens* and worship them. 4 E still build altars for Jehovah house, the place wey Jehovah be don talk about say: “Na for Jerusalem my name go dey forever.” 5 And e build altars to all the stars for the heavens* for two compounds wey dey Jehovah house. 6 And e burn im own sons for fire as sacrifice* for the Lowland* of the Son of Hin′nom; e do magic, e use demon power know wetin people no know, e choose people wey go de talk with spirits and wey go de talk wetin go happen for future. E do wetin bad well-well for Jehovah eyes, to make-am vex.
7 E put the image wey e carve for inside the house of the true God wey God be don tell David and im son Sol′o·mon about say: “Na for this house and for Jerusalem wey I don choose out of all the tribes for Israel I go put my name forever. 8 And I no go ever again comot the leg of Israel people from the land wey I give their papa-papa them as long as them sofri obey everything wey I command them, the whole Law, the directions, and the things wey I don decide, wey I use Moses tell them.” 9 Ma·nas′seh continue to deceive Judah people and the people wey de live for Jerusalem, de make them de do wicked things pass the nations wey Jehovah be don destroy and remove for Israel people.
10 Jehovah continue to talk to Ma·nas′seh and im people, but them no listen. 11 So Jehovah send the people wey de control the soldiers of the king of As·syr′i·a to come attack them, them use hooks catch Ma·nas′seh* and tie-am with two copper chains, them come carry-am go Babylon. 12 When e de suffer, e beg Jehovah im God say make e pity-am* and e continue to bring imself down well-well for front of the God of im papa-papa them. 13 E continue to pray to God, and the prayer wey Ma·nas′seh de pray touch-am, and e hear-am as Ma·nas′seh de beg-am say make e pity-am, and e bring-am back to Jerusalem to start to rule again as king. Then Ma·nas′seh come know say na Jehovah be the true God.
14 After this one, e build another wall for outside for the City of David, for the west side of Gi′hon wey dey the lowland,* and the wall long go reach the Fish Gate, and e continue to build-am round go reach O′phel, and e make-am high well-well. Another thing be say, e choose people wey de control the soldiers for every city wey get strong protection for Judah. 15 Then e comot the lie-lie gods and the idol image from the house of Jehovah and all the altars wey e be don build ontop the mountain of the house of Jehovah and for Jerusalem, and e talk say make them troway them for outside the city. 16 E still arrange the altar of Jehovah and start to do peace sacrifice them ontop-am plus sacrifice them wey them de use thank God, and e tell Judah people say make them serve Jehovah the God of Israel. 17 But the people be still de do sacrifice ontop the high place them, but na only to Jehovah their God.
18 As for the other story about Ma·nas′seh, the prayer wey e pray to im God, and the things wey the people wey de see vision use the name of Jehovah the God of Israel tell-am, them write them for the book wey talk about the things wey the kings of Israel do. 19 Apart from that one, the prayer wey e pray and how God answer-am as e de beg-am, all im sins and all the bad things wey e do, the different-different place wey e build the high place them and put the idol poles,* and the image them wey them carve before e bring imself down, them write them among the things wey im people wey de see visions talk. 20 Then Ma·nas′seh die like im papa-papa them, and them bury-am for im house; and im son A′mon start to rule as king after-am.
21 A′mon dey 22 years when e start to rule as king, and e rule for Jerusalem for two years. 22 And e continue to do wetin bad for Jehovah eyes, just as im papa Ma·nas′seh be don do; and A′mon continue to do sacrifice for all the image them wey them carve, wey im papa Ma·nas′seh be don make, and e continue to serve them. 23 But e no bring imself down for Jehovah front as Ma·nas′seh im papa be don bring imself down; instead, A′mon continue to do more wicked things. 24 At last, im servants plan against-am and kill-am for im own house. 25 But the people for the land kill all the people wey plan against King A′mon, and them make im son Jo·si′ah king after-am.
