Joshua

11 As soon as Ja′bin king of Ha′zor hear about-am, e send message to Jo′bab king of Ma′don, and to the king of Shim′ron, to the king of Ach′shaph, 2 the kings wey dey the area wey mountains dey for the north side, the ones wey dey the level land* for the south of Chin′ne·reth, the ones wey dey She·phe′lah and ontop the hills of Dor wey dey for the west side, 3 Ca′naan people wey dey the east side and the west side, Am′or·ite people, Hit′tite people, Per′iz·zite people, Je′bus people wey dey the area wey mountains dey, and Hi′vite people wey dey the down part of Her′mon for the land of Miz′pah. 4 So them ready come out with all their armies wey plenty well-well like the sand wey dey the side of sea, together with plenty-plenty horse and war chariots. 5 All this kings agree to meet each other, and them come put their camp together near Mer′om water to fight against Israel.

6 So Jehovah tell Joshua say: “Make you no fear because of them, because around this time tomorrow, I de put all of them for your hand and Israel go kill them finish. You must cripple their horse them and you must burn their chariots for inside fire.” 7 Then Joshua together with all the men wey fit fight attack them by surprise near Mer′om water. 8 Jehovah put them for Israel hand and them win them and pursue them go reach Great Si′don and Mis′re·photh-ma′im and the Lowland* of Miz′peh wey dey east side, and them kill them sotey nobody survive. 9 Then Joshua do them just as Jehovah don tell-am make e do; e cripple their horse them and burn their chariots for inside fire.

10 Apart from that one, Joshua come back come take over Ha′zor and kill the king with sword because before-before, na Ha′zor be the leader of all this kingdoms. 11 Them kill everybody* for there with sword, them destroy them, nobody* remain. Then e burn Ha′zor with fire. 12 Joshua take over all the cities of this kings and use sword win all their kings. E destroy them just as Moses the servant of Jehovah don command. 13 But, Israel people no burn any of the cities wey dey ontop small hills apart from Ha′zor; na the only one wey Joshua burn be that. 14 Israel people pack all the better-better things for this cities and the animals for theirself. But them use sword kill everybody until them don destroy each of them. Them no let anybody* remain. 15 Just as Jehovah don command Moses im servant, na so Moses command Joshua and na so Joshua do-am. No single thing out of all the things wey Jehovah don command Moses wey Joshua no do.

16 Joshua win all this land, the area wey mountains dey, all the area of Neg′eb, all the land of Go′shen, the She·phe′lah, the Ar′a·bah, and the area wey mountains dey for Israel and the She·phe′lah* for there, 17 from Mount Ha′lak, wey go up go Se′ir, and go reach Ba′al-gad for the Lowland* of Leb′a·non wey dey the down of Mount Her′mon, and e catch all their kings and win them and e kill them. 18 Joshua fight war with all this kings for long time. 19 No city make peace with Israel people apart from Hi′vite people wey de stay for Gib′e·on. Na war them use win all the rest. 20 Na Jehovah allow their heart to dey stubborn wey make them fight war with Israel people, so that e fit destroy them and no show them any favor. Them suppose face destruction just as Jehovah don command Moses.

21 That time, Joshua kill all the An′a·kim wey come from the area wey mountains dey, from Heb′ron, De′bir, A′nab, and all the area wey mountains dey for Judah and all the area wey mountains dey for Israel. Joshua destroy them and their cities. 22 No An′a·kim remain for the land of Israel people; them only dey for Gaz′a, Gath, and Ash′dod. 23 So Joshua start to control the whole land just as Jehovah don promise Moses, and then Joshua give-am to Israel people as property and divide-am for them tribe by tribe according to their share. And the land rest from war.
