6 By the time e reach 23 years wey Je·ho′ash don be king, the priests never still repair the place them wey don spoil for the house. 7 So King Je·ho′ash call Je·hoi′a·da wey be priest and the other priests, and e ask them say: “Why una no de repair the place them wey don spoil for the house? Because of this one, make una no collect any money again from the people wey de bring-am, unless una want use-am repair the house.” 8 So, the priests come gree say them no go collect any money again from the people and say no be their hand e go dey to repair the house.

17 Na that time Haz′a·el wey be king of Syria comot go fight Gath, and e win-am. After that one, e come decide to attack Jerusalem. 18 So King Je·ho′ash wey de rule Judah carry all the holy offerings wey im papa-papa them, Je·hosh′a·phat, Je·ho′ram, and A·ha·zi′ah, wey be kings for Judah be don make holy, and im own holy offerings, and all the gold wey e see for the place wey them de keep the better-better things for Jehovah house and for the king house,* and e send them go give Haz′a·el the king of Syria. So Haz′a·el no attack Jerusalem.
