17 Jehovah continue to tell Moses say: 2 “Talk to Aaron and im sons and all Israel people, and tell them say, ‘This na wetin Jehovah don command:

3 “‘“If any person among Israel people kill bull or young ram or goat for inside the camp or e kill-am for outside the camp, 4 instead wey e go bring-am come the domot of the tent of meeting to give-am as offering to Jehovah for the front of the tabernacle of Jehovah, them go see that man as person wey blood dey im head. E don kill,* and una must kill* that person comot from im people. 5 This one be like this so that Israel people go bring the sacrifice them wey them de sacrifice now for open area, to Jehovah, come the domot of the tent of meeting, and give the priest. Them go do this sacrifice as peace sacrifice them to Jehovah. 6 And the priest go sprinkle the blood ontop the altar of Jehovah for the domot of the tent of meeting, and burn the fat to make smoke comot as something wey get better smell* to Jehovah. 7 So make them no continue to do sacrifice them to demons wey be like goat,* wey them de worship.* This one go be law wey go last for long time for una, for all una generations.”’

8 “Una go tell them say, ‘Anybody among Israel people* or any stranger wey de live among una wey de give offering wey them de burn, or sacrifice 9 and e no bring-am come the domot of the tent of meeting, to give-am to Jehovah, them must kill-am* comot from im people.

10 “‘If any man from among Israel people or any stranger wey de live among una chop any kind of blood, I go surely dey against* the person* wey de chop blood, and I go kill* the person comot from among im people. 11 Because the life* of any flesh dey inside the blood, and me, I don give-am ontop the altar for una to get forgiveness for unaself,* because na the blood de make una get forgiveness because of the life* wey dey inside-am. 12 Na the reason why I tell Israel people say: “Make nobody* among una chop blood, and make no stranger wey de live among una chop blood.”

13 “‘If one of Israel people or any stranger wey de live among una de go hunt for animal and catch one bush animal or one bird wey them fit chop, e must pour im blood come out and cover-am with sand. 14 Because the life* of every kind of flesh na im blood, since the life* dey inside-am. Because of this one, I tell Israel people say: “Make una no ever chop the blood of any kind of flesh because the life* of every kind of flesh na im blood. Them go kill anybody* wey de chop-am.” 15 If anybody,* whether person wey come from the land or stranger from another land, chop animal wey e see wey don already die or the one wey bush animal tear, e must wash im cloths and bath with water, and e no go dey clean till evening. Then e go come dey clean. 16 But if e no wash them and e no bath imself,* e go answer for im sin.’”
