9 Jehovah talk to Moses for the wilderness of Si′nai for the first month of the second year after them don comot from the land of Egypt, say: 2 “Make Israel people prepare the Passover sacrifice for the time wey I don choose. 3 For the 14th day of this month for evening,* make una prepare-am for the time wey I don choose. Make una prepare-am according to all the laws wey concern-am and all the ways wey them de do-am.”
4 So Moses tell Israel people make them prepare the Passover sacrifice. 5 Then them prepare the Passover sacrifice for the first month, for the 14th day of the month for evening* for the wilderness of Si′nai. So Israel people do according to all the things wey Jehovah don command Moses.
6 Now some men dey wey no dey clean because them touch dead body,* so them no fit prepare the Passover sacrifice for that day, so this men come meet Moses and Aaron that day 7 and tell Moses say: “We no clean because we touch dead body.* Why them no go allow us bring the offering to Jehovah for the time wey e don choose together with Israel people?” 8 So Moses tell them say: “Make una wait for there, make I hear the command wey Jehovah go give about una.”
9 Then Jehovah tell Moses say: 10 “Tell Israel people say, ‘Even if any person among una or una generations wey de come for front no dey clean because e touch dead body* or e travel go long journey, e must still prepare the Passover sacrifice to Jehovah. 11 Make them prepare-am for the second month for the 14th day for evening.* Make them chop-am together with bread wey no get yeast and leaves wey bitter. 12 Make them no ever allow any of-am remain till morning, and make them no break any bone for the animal body. Make them prepare-am according to all the law wey concern the Passover. 13 But if person dey clean or e no travel go long journey and e no prepare the Passover sacrifice, then una must kill* that person* comot from im people because e no bring the offering of Jehovah for the time wey I don choose. That person go answer for im sin.
14 “‘And if stranger de live with una for the land, make e still prepare the Passover sacrifice to Jehovah. Make e do-am according to the law of the Passover and the way them de do-am. Make one law dey for una, both the stranger wey de live for the land and person wey come from the land.’”
15 Now for the day wey them set the tabernacle, the cloud cover the tabernacle, the tent of the Testimony, but for evening, something wey be like fire continue to dey ontop the tabernacle till morning. 16 Na like that e continue to happen. The cloud go cover-am for daytime, and e go be like fire for night. 17 Anytime the cloud comot from where the tent dey, Israel people go comot quick-quick, and for the place where the cloud go stay, na there Israel people go put their tent. 18 When Jehovah give command, Israel people go comot and when Jehovah give command, them go put their tent for there. If the cloud continue to dey ontop the tabernacle, them go continue to stay for there. 19 When the cloud go stay ontop the tabernacle for plenty days, Israel people go obey Jehovah and them no go comot from there. 20 Sometimes the cloud go continue to stay for small number of days ontop the tabernacle. When Jehovah give command them go continue to stay for there, and when Jehovah give command, them go comot from there. 21 Sometimes the cloud go stay only from evening till morning, and when the cloud comot for morning, them go comot for there. Whether na for daytime or night when the cloud go comot, them go comot from there. 22 Whether na two days, one month, or e long pass that one, so far the cloud stay ontop the tabernacle, Israel people go continue to stay for there and them no go comot. But when the cloud comot, them go comot for there. 23 When Jehovah give command, them go stay there, and when Jehovah give command them go comot for there. Them continue to obey Jehovah as Jehovah de give command through Moses.
