37 The people wey come from the other side of the Jordan, from the tribe of Reu′ben, the tribe of Gad, and the half tribe of Ma·nas′seh, na 120,000 soldiers wey get all kinds of weapons wey them fit use fight war. 38 All this people na soldiers wey ready to go fight war, them come Heb′ron with all their heart to make David king wey go rule all Israel, and all the other people for Israel still get one mind* to make David king. 39 And them stay there with David for three days, de chop and de drink, because their brothers don arrange things for them. 40 The people wey near them, and even people wey come from far place like the land of Is′sa·char, Zeb′u·lun, and Naph′ta·li, still use donkeys, camels, mules,* and cows carry food come.
