Protect Your Marriage

The promise wey husband and wife make the day they marry, really dey serious to Jehovah. Jehovah talk say make they no ever leave each other. (Mt 19:5, 6) Plenty servants of Jehovah de enjoy their marriage. But the truth na say, no marriage dey perfect. Sometimes problem go come. Make we no de think like people for this world, say the best way to solve marriage problem na to separate or divorce. How servants of Jehovah fit protect their marriage?

Think about this five important things wey you fit do.

1. Protect your heart! No do wetin go scatter your marriage like, to de eye another person and de watch bad-bad films.—Mt 5:28; 2Pe 2:14.

2. Do wetin go make your friendship with Jehovah strong. Always think of how you fit use your marriage make Jehovah happy.—Ps 97:10.

3. Continue to copy Jehovah example for the way you de do things, and de do small-small things wey go make life easy for your husband or wife.—Col 3:8-10, 12-14.

4. Make wuna de always talk about wetin dey important to each other, and de show respect when wuna de talk.—Col 4:6.

5. Make wuna de show deep love and concern when e reach sex matter.—1Co 7:3, 4; 10:24.

When servants of Jehovah de show respect for their marriage, e mean say they respect Jehovah wey form marriage.
