Prepare Your Mind Before You Start to Study

When we study Bible, we want make the things wey we learn from the study touch our heart and mind. And we want make e help us fit change the way we de think, feel, and things wey we de like. Ezra show us better example as e “prepare im heart to study the Law of Jehovah.” (Ezra 7:10) How you fit prepare your mind before you study?

Pray. Before you start to study, first pray. Beg Jehovah to help you understand and do wetin you learn.—Ps. 119:​18, 34.

Carry body down. God hide the truth from people wey de carry shoulder up and think say them no need anybody to help them understand Bible. (Luke 10:21) So when you de study Bible, no do-am just to show people say you sabi plenty things for Bible. And when you see say you need to change some things for your life, make you do-am and e go show say you de carry body down.

Listen to our songs. Music fit really affect the way we de think. So, if you listen to our songs before you start to study, e fit help you put mind for Jehovah, so that wetin you learn go touch you. When you listen to our songs for the beginning of your study, e fit help you prepare your mind.
