⁴ To gain from better advice, we need to de carry body down. We need to agree say we no know everything and say we go need other people to advice us sometimes. If we no de carry body down, Jehovah no go fit help us. And when we de read Bible, we no go see how we fit use the advice for our life. (Mic. 6:8; 1 Pet. 5:5) But if we de carry body down, we go dey ready to listen and follow any advice from Bible.

⁵ Make we see wetin we fit learn from King David. E for dey easy for-am to de carry body up because of the plenty things wey e don do. For example, many years before e become king, people know-am as person wey sabi play music well. King Saul even tell-am say make e de play music for-am. (1 Sam. 16:​18, 19) After Jehovah choose David to become king, Jehovah give-am Im holy spirit and this one help-am fit do many powerful things. ⁹ When we need advice, e good make we meet person wey get better friendship with Jehovah and wey get experience about the matter.a (Read Proverbs 13:20.) But, the advice wey e go get from brother and sister wey de enjoy their marriage, wey get better friendship with Jehovah, and wey know-am well, na im go better pass.

¹² Rehoboam become King for Israel after im papa wey be Solomon die. When Rehoboam become king, things de go well for Israel people, but them feel say Solomon use them work too much and say e take plenty things from them. The people beg Rehoboam make e reduce their work. So e tell them say make them give-am time to think about wetin e go do. The first people wey e ask for advice, na the elders for Israel wey de give Solomon advice, and this one na better thing. (1 Ki. 12:2-7) But e no follow the advice wey them give-am. Why e do like that? E fit be say wetin e go do don already dey im mind, but e just de look for people wey go support-am. So when e ask im young friends and them tell-am wetin don already dey im mind, this one really sweet-am. (1 Ki. 12:​8-14) Rehoboam do wetin im friends talk. Because of this one, the kingdom divide as many of the people choose another king for theirself. From that time, Rehoboam start to get plenty problems.—1 Ki. 12:​16-19.

13. How we fit know if we really want make other people advice us?

(Jer. 17:9) Sometimes, people fit give us advice wey we no go like, but e fit be say na that advice we really need for our life.

E GOOD MAKE OTHER PEOPLE MAKE DECISION FOR US?

16. Wetin happen for Corinth, and who get the right to decide for the matter? (1 Corinthians 8:7; 10:25, 26)
