5 Then e answer say: “Everything wey you tell me, I go do-am.” 6 So e go down to the place wey them de separate grain from plant and do everything wey im mother-in-law tell-am say make e do. 7 As this one de happen, Bo′az chop, drink, and e de happy. Then e go lie down near the heap of grain. After, Ruth waka small-small go remove wetin e use cover im leg and lie down for there. 8 For midnight, the man start to shake, and e bend go front and see one woman wey lie down where im leg dey. 9 E ask-am say: “Who you be?” The woman answer say: “I be Ruth, your servant. Spread your cloth* cover your servant because you be person wey get the right to buy us back.” 10 So e talk say: “Make Jehovah bless you my daughter. You don show your love wey no de fail this time pass the first time, as you no follow young men, whether them poor or them rich. 11 And now, my daughter, no fear. 16 Ruth comot go meet im mother-in-law, then e ask Ruth say: “How things go for you,* my daughter?” E tell-am everything wey the man don do for-am. 17 E still talk say: “E give me this six measures of barley and tell me say, ‘No go back to your mother-in-law with empty hand.’” 18 Then Na·o′mi tell-am say: “Sitdown here, my daughter, until you know how the matter go be, because the man no go rest until e settle the matter today.”
