2 And these were the people of the province* who came up from the captives of the exile,+ those whom King Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar of Babylon had exiled to Babylon+ and who later returned to Jerusalem and Judah, each to his own city,+

14 And I will let you find me,’+ declares Jehovah. ‘And I will gather your captives and collect you together out of all the nations and places to which I have dispersed you,’+ declares Jehovah. ‘And I will bring you back to the place from which I caused you to go into exile.’+

44 “‘Fields will be bought with money, deeds of purchase will be recorded and sealed, and witnesses will be called in the land of Benjamin,+ in the areas around Jerusalem, in the cities of Judah,+ in the cities of the mountainous region, in the cities of the lowland,+ and in the cities of the south, because I will bring back their captives,’+ declares Jehovah.”

42 “‘And you will have to know that I am Jehovah+ when I bring you to the land of Israel,+ into the land that I swore to give to your forefathers.
