10 min: Supporting Kingdom Activity Locally and Worldwide. Talk based on Elementary Bible Teachings—On DVD, part 4, section 4, questions 1-3 and Optional Questions for Discussion at the end of the section. Emphasize how contributions are used to care for Kingdom interests worldwide, such as the printing of Bibles and Bible literature, Bethel homes, missionaries, special pioneers, and traveling overseers.
10 min: Prepare to Offer the New World Translation of the Christian Greek Scriptures—On DVD in April and May. Feature Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians—On DVD. Discussion. Invite audience to suggest questions and scriptures that could be used in a presentation. Demonstrate how the DVD may be offered. After greeting the householder and establishing a rapport with him, you could say: “I’m glad to find you at home. I’m sharing with my neighbors an encouraging thought from the Bible. Have you ever wondered: . . . ?” [Ask a question that leads into the scripture you plan to use.] Or, you could say: “We’re encouraging folks to read the Bible. The answers that it gives to important questions often surprise people. For example: . . .” [Ask a question that leads into the scripture you plan to use.]
10 min: “Were You Once a Regular Pioneer?” Questions and answers. If available, a pioneer who stopped pioneering and then resumed when his or her circumstances changed may be briefly interviewed. What enabled the publisher to pioneer again? What blessings have been enjoyed?
