20 min: Benefitting From JW Broadcasting in American Sign Language. Discussion. Beginning with the May monthly program, JW Broadcasting is being translated into a number of languages, including American Sign Language. JW Broadcasting in ASL has three sections. The “Streaming” section contains 12 channels that broadcast our videos 24 hours a day. The extensive “Video on Demand” section will allow individuals to select any of our videos and watch them at any time. The “Songs & Dramas” section will contain songs, dramas, and dramatic Bible readings. [Play the demonstration video for JW Broadcasting in American Sign Language which shows the 12 channels that are available and how the “Streaming” feature can be used.] Explain that each month, the “Featured Programming” channel will broadcast a different one-hour program hosted by a member of the Governing Body. Give examples of the variety of programs available in these three sections. Ask the audience to share their personal comments on how they have benefited by regularly watching the programs featured. Then ask what someone who does not have access to JW Broadcasting could do. Encourage all to use this loving provision from Jehovah’s organization.
