18 “Jehovah’s* spirit+ is upon me, because he anointed* me to declare good news to the poor, he sent me forth to preach a release to the captives and a recovery of sight to the blind, to send the crushed ones away with a release,+

22 Hence in answer he said to the [two]: “Go YOUR way,+ report to John what YOU saw and heard: the blind+ are receiving sight, the lame are walking, the lepers are being cleansed and the deaf are hearing, the dead are being raised up, the poor are being told+ the good news.+

18 to open their eyes,+ to turn them from darkness+ to light+ and from the authority of Satan+ to God, in order for them to receive forgiveness of sins+ and an inheritance+ among those sanctified+ by [their] faith in me.’
