61 The spirit of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah is upon me,+ for the reason that Jehovah has anointed me+ to tell good news to the meek ones.+ He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,+ to proclaim liberty* to those taken captive+ and the wide opening [of the eyes] even to the prisoners;+

12 And I shall certainly let remain in the midst of you a people humble and lowly,+ and they will actually take refuge in the name of Jehovah.+

18 “Jehovah’s* spirit+ is upon me, because he anointed* me to declare good news to the poor, he sent me forth to preach a release to the captives and a recovery of sight to the blind, to send the crushed ones away with a release,+

5 Listen, my beloved brothers. God chose the ones who are poor+ respecting the world to be rich+ in faith and heirs of the kingdom, which he promised to those who love him,+ did he not?
