2 For Egypt,+ concerning the military force of Pharʹaoh Neʹcho* the king of Egypt,+ who happened to be by the river Eu·phraʹtes at Carʹche·mish,+ whom Neb·u·chad·rezʹzar the king of Babylon defeated in the fourth year of Je·hoiʹa·kim+ the son of Jo·siʹah, the king of Judah:

2 “Son of man, set your face against Pharʹaoh the king of Egypt+ and prophesy against him and against Egypt in its entirety.+

31 “‘These are the ones that Pharʹaoh will see, and he will certainly be comforted over all his crowd.+ Pharʹaoh and all his military force will be people slain by the sword,’ is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.
