36 On seeing the crowds he felt pity+ for them, because they were skinned* and thrown about like sheep without a shepherd.+

32 But Jesus called his disciples to him and said:+ “I feel pity+ for the crowd, because it is already three days that they have stayed with me and they have nothing to eat; and I do not want to send them away fasting. They may possibly give out on the road.”

41 At that he was moved with pity,+ and he stretched out his hand and touched him, and said to him: “I want to. Be made clean.”+

13 And when the Lord* caught sight of her, he was moved with pity+ for her, and he said to her: “Stop weeping.”+

17 Consequently he was obliged to become like his “brothers” in all respects,+ that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest* in things pertaining to God,+ in order to offer propitiatory+ sacrifice* for the sins of the people.+

2 He is able to deal moderately with the ignorant and erring ones since he also is surrounded with his own weakness,+
