18 A prophet I shall raise up for them from the midst of their brothers, like you;+ and I shall indeed put my words in his mouth,+ and he will certainly speak to them all that I shall command him.+

21 And they asked him: “What, then? Are you E·liʹjah?”*+ And he said: “I am not.” “Are you The Prophet?”+ And he answered: “No!”

14 Hence when the men saw the signs he performed, they began to say: “This is for a certainty the prophet+ that was to come into the world.”

22 In fact, Moses said, ‘Jehovah* God will raise up for YOU from among YOUR brothers a prophet like me.+ YOU must listen to him according to all the things he speaks to YOU.+
