15 An answer, when mild, turns away rage,+ but a word causing pain makes anger to come up.+

6 Brothers, even though a man takes some false step*+ before he is aware of it, YOU who have spiritual+ qualifications try to readjust* such a man in a spirit of mildness,+ as you each keep an eye on yourself,+ for fear you also may be tempted.+

2 with complete lowliness of mind+ and mildness, with long-suffering,+ putting up with one another in love,+

11 However, you, O man of God, flee from these things.+ But pursue righteousness, godly devotion,* faith, love, endurance, mildness of temper.+

25 instructing with mildness those not favorably disposed;+ as perhaps God may give them repentance+ leading to an accurate knowledge of truth,+

15 But sanctify the Christ as Lord* in YOUR hearts,+ always ready to make a defense+ before everyone that demands of YOU a reason for the hope in YOU, but doing so together with a mild temper+ and deep respect.*
