36 Then Jesus came with them to the spot called Geth·semʹa·ne,+ and he said to the disciples: “Sit down here while I go over there and pray.”+ 37 And taking along Peter and the two sons of Zebʹe·dee,+ he began to feel grieved and to be greatly troubled.+

39 On leaving, he went as was his custom to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples also followed him.+ 40 On arriving at the place, he said to them: “Carry on prayer so that you do not enter into temptation.”+ 41 And he withdrew from them about a stone’s throw away, and he bent his knees and began to pray,

18 After he said these things, Jesus went out with his disciples across the Kidʹron Valley+ to where there was a garden, and he and his disciples went into it.+
