1. Jehova Ngai, ũrĩ hinya,

Wee nĩ wendete ũthingu.

Thĩ ĩiyũrĩte waganu,

Ũgatũma wee ũtuurũo.

Ndũtithagia wee Ngai witũ;

Mũthenya waku wĩ hakuhĩ.

Ithuĩ nĩwe twĩhokete,

Nĩ wega nĩ gũkirĩrĩria.

2. Mĩaka ngiri, harĩ wee Ngai,

No ta mũthenya ũmwe tu.

Mũthenya waku mũnene;

Ũrĩ hakuhĩ gũkinya.

O na ũthũire mehia mothe,

Nĩ ũkenaga ehia merira.

Tũtũũrie kĩĩrĩgĩrĩro,

Twĩ na ngatho tũkũgoocage.
