Jehovah choose Jeremiah to be prophet for the people in Judah. He tell Jeremiah to preach to the people and warn them to stop doing bad things. ‘But Jeremiah tell Jehovah say: I just small boy. I not know how to talk with the people.’ Then Jehovah tell him say: ‘Don’t be scare. I will tell you what to say. I will help you.’

Jehovah tell Jeremiah to call the elder dem together, and burst one clay jar in front of them, and say: ‘Jerusalem will be destroy just like this clay jar.’ When Jeremiah do the thing Jehovah say, the elder dem get vex bad way. One priest name Pashhur beat Jeremiah and put chain on him. He put Jeremiah hand and foot in one wood that wor having hole on it. The whole night Jeremiah wor not able to move. The next morning, Pashhur free him. Then Jeremiah say: ‘I can’t make it again. I will stop preaching.’ But you think Jeremiah give up? No. When Jeremiah think about it good-good, he say: ‘Jehovah message just like fire inside my heart. I can’t stop preaching.’ So, Jeremiah continue to warn the people.

After some years, new king start ruling in Judah. The priests and the false prophet dem use to hate Jeremiah message. So they tell the prince dem say: ‘This man surpose to die.’ Jeremiah say: ‘If yor kill me, yor will be killing innocent man. That not my own message I preaching. That Jehovah message.’ When the prince dem hear that one, they say: ‘We must not kill him.’

Jeremiah continue preaching, and the prince dem wor vex bad way. They ask the king to kill Jeremiah. The king tell them say: ‘yor can do anything yor want do to him.’ Then they throw Jeremiah in one deep well that wor having so-so mud inside, for him to die there. Jeremiah started going way down in the mud.

Then one court official name Ebed-melech tell the king say: ‘The prince dem na throw Jeremiah in one well! If we leave him there, he will die.’ Then the king tell Ebed-melech to carry 30 men with him so they can go take Jeremiah from the well. You not think we must be like Jeremiah, who not allow anything to stop him from preaching?
