Jehova Ziizɛ Maazu Vɛtɛni

The people who wor living on the east side of Israel use to believe that the stars can guide them. One night, some men dem from that same place see one bright star moving in the sky. And they start following it. The “star” direct them to Jerusalem. The men dem start asking people: ‘Where the child who will be the king for the Jews? We come pay our respect to him.’

When Herod, the king for Jerusalem, hear about new king, he wor worrying bad way. He ask the chief priest dem: ‘Where they suppose to born the king?’ They tell him say: ‘The prophet dem say he will be born in Bethlehem.’ So, Herod call the men dem from the East and tell them say: ‘Yor go Bethlehem and look for the child. Yor must come back and tell me the place he eh. I want pay my respect to him too.’ But he wor lying.

The “star” started moving again. And the men dem follow it to Bethlehem. The “star” go until it stop over one house. Then the men dem enter in the house. They find Jesus with his ma, Mary there. They bow down to the child and give him gift, like: gold, frankincense, and myrrh. You think that Jehovah send this men dem to find Jesus? No.

That night, Jehovah tell Joseph in his dream: ‘Herod want kill Jesus. Take your wife and your son and run away to Egypt. Stay there until I tell yor say it safe for yor to come back.’ Right away, Joseph and his family go to Egypt.

Jehovah already na tell the men dem from the east that they must not go back to Herod. When Herod get to know that they wor not coming back, he wor really vex. Since king Herod wor not able to find Jesus, he give order that they must kill all the small-small boy children dem in Bethlehem, from two years old down. But Jesus wor already safe in Egypt.

After some time, king Herod die. Jehovah tell Joseph say: ‘It safe now for you to go back.’ So Joseph, Mary, and Jesus go back to Israel. And they wor living in the city they call Nazareth.
