LESSON 72

Ziizɛ Ma Lopo Woloi

Joseph and Mary wor living in Nazareth with Jesus and their other children dem. Joseph wor doing carpenter work to support his family, and he use to teach them about Jehovah and his Law. He and his family use to go to the synagogue to worship all the time. And every year they use to go to Jerusalem for the Passover.

When Jesus wor 12 years old, he and his family go all the way to Jerusalem just how they use to do it every year. The city wor pack with plenty people who go celebrate the Passover. After the Passover, Joseph and Mary started going back home, thinking that Jesus wor with them. But when they look for Jesus among their relative dem, they not see him.

They go back to Jerusalem, and they spend three days looking for their son. Finally, when they go to the temple, they see Jesus, sitting down in the middle of the teacher dem, listening good-good and asking good questions. The teacher dem wor proud of Jesus, and they started asking Jesus questions. And they wor surprise with the answers he wor giving. They could see that he really understand Jehovah law.

Joseph and Mary really been worrying. Then Mary say: ‘My Child, we been looking for you all over! Where place you wor eh?’ Then Jesus say: ‘Yor not know I suppose to be in my pa house?’

Jesus follow his ma and pa to go back to Nazareth. Joseph teach Jesus how to do the carpenter work. What kindna person you think Jesus wor when he wor growing up? The more he wor getting big, that the more he wor getting wise and God and the people wor happy with him.
