When Jesus get baptize, it not stay long he start preaching. He wor saying: ‘God Kingdom near.’ His disciple dem follow him when he wor traveling around Galilee and Judea. When Jesus go back to his hometown in Nazareth, he go to the synagogue. He open the scroll that Isaiah write, and read it loud. He say: ‘Jehovah spirit on me because he na choose me to preach the good news.’ What that one mean? It mean that even though people wanted to see Jesus performing miracles, the main reason God give him holy spirit, that to preach the good news. Then he tell the people that wor listening to him say: ‘Today this prophecy na happen.’

Next, Jesus went to the Sea of Galilee, and that the place he see four of his disciples, who wor fishermen. He tell them say: ‘Yor follow me, and I will show yor how to look for people just how yor can fishing.’ The four desciple dem wor Peter, Andrew, James, and John. Right away, they leave their fishing business and follow him. They go all over in Galilee, to preach about Jehovah Kingdom. They preach in the synagogues, in the marketplace dem, and in the streets. Plenty people wor following them anywhere they go. News about Jesus spread all over, even all the way to Syria.

After sometime, Jesus give some of his follower dem power to heal and move demons from in people. Other people follow him, when he wor preaching from city to city and from village to village. And some faithful women dem, including Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Susanna, and other people, take care of Jesus and his followers.

When Jesus finish training his disciple dem, he send them to go preach. When they wor preaching all over in Galilee, plenty other people became disciples and get baptize. Plenty people wanted to be disciples to the extend that Jesus compare them to the farm that wor ready for harvest. He say: ‘Pray to Jehovah to send more workers on his farm to harvest.’ Later on, Jesus choose 70 of his disciples and pair them two-two to go preach all around Judea. They preach to different-different people about the Kingdom. When the disciples came back to Jesus, they wor happy to tell him about all the thing dem that happen. The Devil wor not able to do anything to stop the preaching work.

Jesus make sure that his disciple dem will continue doing this important preaching work after he go back to heaven. He tell them say: ‘Yor preach the good news all over the earth. Yor teach people God Word, and baptize them.’

“I also need to preach the good news about God Kingdom to other city dem, because that the reason why God send me.”—Luke 4:43
