GUI 18 Grateful for the Ransom

Zɛɓɛi Da Maa Woli E Vile Wũ-Maa-Wo Ŋɛnii Va?

“Nii ɣa é Gala na wõilai wuloa kɛnɛ ma—1 JƆ̃ 4:9.

WHAT THE MAIN POINT?

We will learn what the ransom teach us about the good-good ways that Jehovah and Jesus Christ get.

1. Kulo su-nu-ma zɛɓɛi da sɔlɔwo ani da liina Ɣi-Zɛ-Su Ɣaalɛ-Bai zu?

WE SURE you will agree that the ransom that important gift! (2 Cor. 9:15) Because Jesus die for you, you can get close friendship with Jehovah God. It can also give you the hope to live forever. We get plenty reasons to tell Jehovah thank you for the ransom because he really love us! (Rom. 5:8) To help us to be grateful and never forget the ransom, Jesus tell us to attend the Memorial every year.—Luke 22:19, 20.

2. Zɛɓɛi de vaazu yɛpɛzu e vile ba kɔlɔ nii zu?

2 This year, the Memorial will be on Saturday, April 12, 2025. We sure that all of us planning to be there. We will really benefit if we take time during the Memorial season to think on what Jehovah and his Son Jesus na do for us. In this article, we will learn what the ransom teach us about Jehovah and his Son. The next article will help us to understand how we can benefit from the ransom and how we can show that we grateful for it.

3. Ziizɛ zaa ʋai ɣa nu lamaa wũ-maa-wo ɣɛ le? (Wɛlɛ ɓalaa footei va.)

3 The ransom teach us about Jehovah justice. (Deut. 32:4) How? Just think about this one: Because we get sin from Adam, that why we can die. (Rom. 5:12) So to free us from sin and death, Jehovah send Jesus to die for us. But how one perfect man sacrifice wor able to free plenty people? The apostle Paul say: “Just as through the disobedience of the one man [Adam] many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one person [Jesus] many will be made righteous.” (Rom. 5:19; 1 Tim. 2:6) In other words, that one perfect man who disobey made us to be slave to sin and death. So, that one perfect man who obey free us.

That one man made us to be slave to sin and death. That the same way one man free us (See paragraph 3)

4. Zɛɓɛi e kɛɛ Jehova lɛ ɓeni Adã dea niitiɛ va te luɓo-velei vagɛi ga te ɣɛ ŋeteai wɔ?

4 You think Jehovah wor really force to send Jesus to die for us? Why Jehovah not just allow Adam children to live forever? Maybe we will think that the best way to solve this problem. But for Jehovah, it wor not the right thing to do. Because Jehovah fair, he will never close his eye to the bad things that Adam do.

5. Zɛɓɛi e kɛɛ da laala ga Jehova ya niitiɛ ɣɛ wɔ te zolowogɛi?

5 Suppose Jehovah wor not coming provide the ransom, but put his justice one side by allowing Adam and Eve children to live forever? Maybe people wor going to say that the same way God will not stick to his justice in the future. For example, maybe they will think that he will not stick to some of his promise. We must not worry that it will happen like that. The fact that Jehovah sacrifice his own Son just to do the right thing, convince us that he will always do the right thing.

6. Wũ-maa-wo ŋɛnii ɣa Jehova na wõila lɛɛzu ɣɛ le? (1 Jɔ̃ 4:9, 10)

6 Even though the ransom na help us to understand that Jehovah love justice, but it also help us to know that he really love us. (John 3:16; read 1 John 4:9, 10.) The teaching of the ransom show that Jehovah want us to live forever and also be part of his family. Let think about this one: When Adam sin, Jehovah move him from His family. Because of that, we can’t be part of Jehovah family when they born us. But because of the ransom, anybody who put faith in God and obey him will be part of his family. Even now-now we can get good friendship with Jehovah and with our brother and sister dem. Yes, Jehovah really love us for true!—Rom. 5:10, 11.

7. Daa-nɔwɔ-wogi e laani Ziizɛ ma tɔ dɛɛzu ɣɛ le ga Jehova wõivɛ ga diɛ?

7 We can understand good-good that Jehovah really love us if we think about what he pass through to provide the ransom. Satan say nobody who serving God will remain faithful to Him when they going through problem. To prove that Satan lying, Jehovah allow Jesus to suffer before he die. (Job 2:1-5; 1 Pet. 2:21) Jehovah wor seeing the religious leaders playing fun out of his Son, the soldier people beating him, and they nail him to the stake. Then he also see how his dear Son suffer and die painful way. (Matt. 27:28-31, 39) Jehovah wor having the power to stop any of this thing dem from happening. For example, he wor coming do it when the people who wor against Jesus say: “If God really want help him let God save him now.” (Matt. 27:42, 43) If Jehovah wor coming save his Son, Jesus wor not coming to die for us and we wor not coming get any hope. So Jehovah allow his Son to suffer until he die.

8. E ɣisu Jehova yii zuulini tei e wɛlɛni Ziizɛ va ɣɛ laa-nɔwɔ-wo? (Wɛlɛ ɓalaa footei va.)

8 We must not think that God not get feelings because he get all the power! Jehovah get feelings like us because he made us in his image. The Bible say Jehovah can feel hurt and he can grieve. (Ps. 78:40, 41) Let look at the example of Abraham and Isaac. Ehn you can remember that Jehovah tell Abraham to sacrifice his only son Isaac? (Gen. 22:9-12; Heb. 11:17-19) Just think about the different-different way Abraham wor feeling when he wor coming kill his son Isaac. We can be sure that Jehovah wor feeling bad. In fact, he wor feeling bad more than Abraham because He wor seeing how the wicked people wor treating his Son bad, and they even kill him!—Go on jw.org and watch the video Imitate Their Faith—Abraham, Part 2.

Jehovah wor really feeling bad when he see his Son suffering (See paragraph 8)

9. Loom 8:32, 38, 39 ɣaa ɓɔ de va ɣɛ le de kwɛ̃ɛ ga wõila ɣa Jehova ya de ʋaa ma e vɛɛ de ɣaa yɔwɔ̃itiɛ va?

9 The ransom teach us that nobody love us like Jehovah, not even our close relative or our best friend. (Read Romans 8:32, 38, 39.) We can be sure that Jehovah love us more than we love our self. You want live forever? Jehovah want you to live forever more than you want it for yourself. You want Jehovah to forgive your sins? He want forgive you more than you think. The only thing he asking us to do that to put faith in the ransom and obey him. The ransom that precious gift that show how Jehovah really love us. And in the new world, we will even learn more about Jehovah love.—Eccl. 3:11.

NII WŨ-MAA-WO ŊƐNII ƔA DƐ GA DIƐ E VILE ZIIZƐ VA

10. (a) Zɛɓɛi ɓɔɔ e Ziizɛ yii zuulini e vile paa ʋai va? (b) Ziizɛ ɓaa laani Jehova na daa-zeigi ma ɣɛ le? (Wɛlɛ ɓalaa kologi va “Jesus Clear Jehovah Name by Remaining Faithful.”)

10 Jesus really care about his Pa name. (John 14:31) Jesus wor feeling bad that his pa name was coming spoil because the people say he not get respect for God and he criminal. That why Jesus pray and say: “My Father, if it possible, let this cup pass by me.” (Matt. 26:39) But because Jesus remain faithful to Jehovah until he die, it prove that all the thing dem Satan say about Jehovah name that so-so lie.

Jesus Clear Jehovah Name by Remaining Faithful

Because Jesus remain faithful even though he suffer and die, he prove that Satan wor wrong when he say that no human being will remain faithful to God when they going through problem. (Job 2:4, 5) Jesus also show that Adam wor responsible for his own sin, not Jehovah. Jesus prove that if Adam wanted to remain faithful he wor coming do it because he wor perfect. So, we can’t blame Jehovah for Adam sin.

Jesus gave his life to show that he really love his Pa (See paragraph 10)

Jesus gave his life to show that he really love his Pa (See paragraph 10)

11. Ziizɛ wõila ɓɔɔɓɔɔ dɛɛni ɣɛ le numaa ʋaa ma? (Jɔ̃ 13:1

11 The ransom also teach us that Jesus really care for people, especially his disciple dem. (Prov. 8:31; read John 13:1.) For example, Jesus knew that some of the thing dem he wor coming do on earth wor coming be hard for him, like the painful way he wor coming die. But Jesus do all this thing dem not because Jehovah tell him to do it, but because he love people. Jesus put his whole heart in preaching, teaching, and serving other people. So even on the day he wor coming die, Jesus wash his apostle dem feet, encourage them and give them direction. (John 13:12-15) Then when he was on the stake, Jesus use small time to give hope to the criminal that wor near him and he also made arrangement for somebody to take care of his ma. (Luke 23:42, 43; John 19:26, 27) Jesus show that he love people by dying for them, and also treating them with love and kindness.

12. Ziizɛ ɣa dɛ ɓɔsu de va ɣɛ le?

12 That true Jesus die “once for all time,” but he still making sacrifices for us. (Rom. 6:10) How? He continue working so that we can benefit from the ransom. See some of the thing dem he doing. He our King, High Priest, and the head of the congregation. (1 Cor. 15:25; Eph. 5:23; Heb. 2:17) He gathering the anointed and the great crowd, and that work will finish before the great tribulation end.a (Matt. 25:32; Mark 13:27) He also making sure that we get plenty spiritual food during this last days. (Matt. 24:45) And during his One Thousand Year Rule, he will continue to work for us. Yes, Jehovah really gave his Son for us!

MƐLƐ ƁƆLƆ FAA MAA WOLI ƲAI VA

13. Ya ɣɛ na Gala Kɔlɔi lodosu ɣɛ ɣi-gaa-ziɛ ma towa ɓɔ e va ɣɛ le?

13 You can continue to learn about the love that Jehovah and Jesus get for you, if you continue to think good-good on the thing dem they na do for you. Maybe during this year Memorial season, you can take your own time to read one or more of this book dem: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. But don’t read plenty chapters one time. Stop small and think on more reasons why you love Jehovah and Jesus. And try your best to tell other people about what you learn.

14. E ɣɛ velei Psalm 119:97 boga la e vɛɛ nii va ponɛɛ bu, faa maa woli ʋai ɣa ɓɔ e va ɣɛ le yiɛ faa wɛ̃ɛ e vile wũ-maa-wo ŋɛnii va e vɛɛ faa taniga va? (Wɛlɛ ɓalaa footei va.)

14 If you na stay long in the truth, maybe you will be thinking whether you can learn new things on the subject dem you already know, like God justice, his love and the ransom. To talk the truth, we will always learn new things about this thing dem and other topics. So, wetin you must do? Read and study our publication dem to find more information. When you read something that you not really understand, do research. Then during the day, think on what you learn and what it tell you about Jehovah, his Son, and the love they get for you.—Read Psalm 119:97 and footnote.

Even if we na stay long in the truth, we can still learn new things about the ramson that can make us to be more grateful (See paragraph 14)

15. Zɛɓɛi e kɛɛ maa nɛɛ de ɣaa-ɓaa diɛ faa vagɔitiɛ maa woli Gala Kɔlɔi zu?

15 Anytime you reading the Bible or doing research and you not find something new or interesting, don’t be discourage. It just like people who trying to find gold. They can be patient and spend plenty hours before they can even find small gold. But they can continue digging because every small gold important to them. So every small thing we learn from the Bible more important than gold! (Ps. 119:127; Prov. 8:10) So be patient and stick to your Bible reading schedule.—Ps. 1:2.

16. Da vile ɣɛ le Jehova ɓɔga Ziizɛ te wɔwɔ wogi zu?

16 When you study, look for ways to apply the thing dem you learning. For example, be like Jehovah by treating other people fair. Like Jesus, be willing to do what Jehovah want you to do, and help your brother and sister dem even if it will make life hard for you. Also, follow Jesus example by preaching to other people so they can get the opportunity to put faith in the ramson.

17. Zɛɓɛi de vaazu maa wolizu naa wulu wɔlɔi zu?

17 The more we understand and be grateful for the ransom, that the more we will love Jehovah and his Son. Then their love for us will grow too. (John 14:21; Jas. 4:8) So let use the different-different tools that Jehovah na gave us to continue learning about the ransom. The next article will talk about some ways we can benefit from the ransom and how we can show that we grateful for it.
