YOU can remember the time you give your life to Jehovah? You make that decision because you love him and you know him good-good. You promise him that serving him wor coming be the most important thing in your life. You also promise him that you will continue to love him with your whole heart, your whole life, your whole mind, and your whole strength. (Mark 12:30) Since that time, your love for Jehovah being getting more and more strong. So suppose somebody ask you this question, “You sure that you really love Jehovah?” How you will answer that person? You will not waste time seh. You will say, “I love him more than anybody or anything!”

² But suppose somebody ask you, “You sure Jehovah love you?” How you will answer that person? If you feeling that you not fit for Jehovah to love you, maybe you will not be quick to answer the person. One sister who grow up the hard way say: “I convince that I love Jehovah. Paul wor really convince that Jehovah love him. So he say: “I am convinced that neither death nor life nor angels nor governments nor things now here nor things to come nor powers nor height nor depth nor any other creation will be able to separate us from God’s love.” (Rom. 8:​38, 39) In this article, we will learn why it important for us to be convince that Jehovah love us and wetin we can do to be sure that he love us for true.

⁴ When we convince that Jehovah love us, we will be able to fight one of Satan ‘trick.’ (Eph. 6:11) Satan will do anything he able to do just to stop us from serving Jehovah. Most of the time, he can do it when we feeling bad because of the mistake we make before, when we going through problem, or when we not sure about the future. (Prov. 24:10) He can always be looking for way to catch people who feeling discourage. He can try to use that bad feeling to make us to stop serving Jehovah. But if we continue to be convince that Jehovah love us, we will be prepare to take our “stand against” Satan and his trick dem.—1 Pet. 5:​8, 9; Jas. 4:7.

⁵ When we convince that Jehovah love us, we can draw more close to him. Wetin make us to say this one? That because Jehovah make us in the way that we able to show love to people and for them to show us love too. It normal to love somebody who love us. So the more we feel that Jehovah love us and value us, that the more we will love him too. (1 John 4:19) And when our love for him get more strong, his love for us will get more strong too. The Bible make it clear. It say: “Draw close to God, and he will draw close to you.” (Jas. 4:8) But wetin can help us to be more convince that Jehovah really love us?

⁶ Continue praying and telling Jehovah your main problem. (Luke 18:1; Rom. 12:12) If it possible, ask Jehovah plenty time during the day to see yourself the way he see you. But sometime when our other heart be telling us say we nothing, it can be hard to convince ourself that Jehovah love us. But remember that Jehovah greater than your heart. (1 John 3:​19, 20) He know you good-good more than the way you know yourself; and he can see thing dem that you not able to see. (1 Sam. 16:7; 2 Chron. 6:30) So don’t be scare to tell Jehovah how you feeling. Ask him to help you to be convince that he love you. (Ps. 62:8) Then work in line with your prayer by doing the thing dem we coming talk about.

⁷ Trust the thing dem Jehovah say. He tell the Bible writer dem to talk about the good-good way he get. Just see one fine way David talk about Jehovah in the book of Psalm. He say, “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; he saves those who are discouraged.” (Ps. 34:​18, ftn.) When you feeling bad, sometime you can feel that nobody get time for you. But Jehovah promise that when you in that kindna situation, he can be close to you because he know that the main time you need him. See another thing David say about Jehovah. He say: “Do collect my tears in your skin bottle.” (Ps. 56:8) This one just help us to see that Jehovah really care for you. And he can feel bad when he see you suffering. Just how every small water important to somebody who traveling long distance, that the same way our tears important to Jehovah. Psalm 139:3 say: “You [Jehovah] are familiar with all my ways.” Jehovah know all the thing dem you can do, but he can only focus on the good-good one dem. (Heb. 6:10) Why? Because he really value all the thing dem you doing to make Him happy.a

⁸ Jehovah using this Bible verse dem to comfort you. He just telling you say: “I want you to know that I really love you and care for you.” But from what we na learn, Satan want make you feel that Jehovah not love you. So sometime when you not convince that Jehovah really love you, stop and ask yourself this question, ‘That who I will believe, Satan, “the father of the lie” or Jehovah, “the God of truth”?’—John 8:44; Ps. 31:5.

9. Zɛɓɛi Jehova wõini feli veaitiɛ te pɛɛ ɣibɛ? (Exodus 20:5, 6)

⁹ Think on how Jehovah feel about the people dem who love him. Just see what Jehovah tell Moses and the Israelite dem in Exodus 20:​5, 6. (Read) Jehovah promise that he will continue to show loyal love to the people dem who love him. Because Jehovah can stick to the thing dem he promise, we can be sure that Jehovah will continue to love us so long we love him. (Neh. 1:5) So, sometime if you not convince that Jehovah love you, stop and ask yourself this question, ‘I love Jehovah?’ Then think about this one here: If you love him and you trying your best to make him happy, you can be sure that he really love you. (Dan. 9:4; 1 Cor. 8:3) That mean, if you sure that you love Jehovah, you not need to be thinking whether he love you. You can really be sure that Jehovah will always love you and he will always stick to you.

¹⁰ Think good-good on the ransom. Jesus ransom sacrifice that the best gift Jehovah na give to human being. (John 3:16) But you think this gift for you too? Yes! Think about what happen to the apostle Paul. Remember that he do plenty bad-bad thing dem before he become Christian. And even after he become Christian, he needed to continue fighting his own weakness. (Rom. 7:​24, 25; 1 Tim. 1:​12-14) But he still look at Jesus sacrifice to be gift from Jehovah to him. (Read Galatians 2:20.) Remember that Jehovah tell Paul to write this one in the Bible. And Jehovah want us to learn from everything in the Bible. (Rom. 15:4) The thing Paul say show how Jehovah want you to look at the ransom. He want you to look at it as gift to you. If you look at the ransom that way, you will be more convince that Jehovah love you.

¹¹ We want tell Jehovah thank you plenty for sending Jesus on the earth to die for us. But another reason why Jesus come on earth that to tell us the truth about God. (John 18:37) He also teach us the truth about how Jehovah really love us.

¹² When Jesus wor on earth, he tell people about the good-good way his Pa get. (Luke 10:22) But why we can believe the thing dem Jesus say about his Pa? Because he stay long in heaven with his Pa before he come on earth. (Col. 1:15) So Jesus wor able to see for hisself that Jehovah really love the people dem who faithful to him. How Jesus help us to be convince that Jehovah love us?

¹³ Jesus want us to see Jehovah the same way he see him. In the four Gospels, Jesus call Jehovah “Father” more than 160 times. When he wor talking to his disciple dem, he use word dem like “your Father” or “your Father who in heaven.” (Matt. 5:16; 6:26) The study note for Matthew 5:16 say: “God servant dem way back use plenty titles to describe Jehovah. For example, they use ‘Almighty,’ ‘the Most High,’ and ‘Grand Creator,’ but Jesus always use the simple word ‘Father’ to show how God close to his servant them.” It clear that Jesus want us to see Jehovah the way he see Him. That mean he want us to see Jehovah to be our loving Father, who care for his children dem. Let look at two ways Jesus use the word “Father.”

¹⁴ First, let talk about the thing dem Jesus say in Matthew 10:​29-31. (Read.) He talk about some kindna small bird that looking like ten-ten they call sparrow. He say that this bird dem can’t worship Jehovah or love Him. But when one of them fall down on the ground, our Father can know about it. You not think Jehovah value and care for all his faithful servant dem who serving him because they love him? Verse 30 say, ‘and he even know the number of hairs that on your head.’ The study note for this verse say: “For Jehovah to know this small-small thing dem about human being, really show that he get interest in each of his servant dem.” Yes, Jesus want us to really be convince that we important to our Father Jehovah.

15. Nii Ziizɛ boni Jɔ̃ 6:44 zu, zɛɓɛi e dɛɛzu ga diɛ e vile Jehova va?

¹⁵ See the second way Jesus use the word “Father.” (Read John 6:44.) He say that your Father in heaven bring you to the truth. Why he bring you to the truth? Because he see that you wor having good heart. (Acts 13:48) The study note for John 6:44 say that maybe Jesus wor talking about the thing dem that Jeremiah say in the theme scripture for this article: “I have drawn you to me with loyal love [or, have continued to show loyal love to you].” (Jer. 31:3; ftn.; compare Hosea 11:4.) Just think on what this one mean. Our loving Father in heaven continue to see the good in you that you can’t see in yourself.

¹⁶ The way Jesus call Jehovah our Father, he just telling us say: “Jehovah that not just my Pa; but that your Pa too. And I can tell you for true-true that he love you and really care for you.” So anytime you feel that Jehovah not really love you, remember what Jesus say and believe him. Why? Because he the one know our Pa Jehovah good-good and he can always talk the truth.—1 Pet. 2:22.

17. Zɛɓɛi e kɛɛ maa nɛɛ diɛ da laalai zuɓaa Jehova na wõilai ʋaa ma

¹⁷ We must continue to convince ourself that Jehovah love us. From what we na learn, our enemy Satan who can use different-different trick, will continue trying to stop us from serving Jehovah. He will continue trying to make us feel that Jehovah not love us. Satan doing all this one here just to make our faith weak. But we must not allow him to win!—Job 27:5.

18. Ya ya laalai zuɓaa ɣɛ le Jehova na wõilai ʋaa ma?

¹⁸ To be more convince that Jehovah love you, continue praying for his help to see yourself the way he see you. Think on how the people dem who write the Bible describe the kindna love He get. Remember that Jehovah will always love anybody who love him. Think on why you look at the ransom to be Jehovah gift to you. And trust what Jesus say, that Jehovah that your Father in heaven. So if somebody ask you, “You sure that Jehovah really love you?” You will answer with your who heart and say, “Yes, he love me! And I will try my best every day to show that I love him too!”
