Cishe uMose wayengazi ukuthi uNkulunkulu wayezohlukanisa uLwandle Olubomvu phakathi, ngaleyo ndlela avulele ama-Israyeli indlela yokusinda. Ukubhubhisa kukaJehova amabutho aseGibithe kwamphakamisa emehlweni abakhulekeli bakhe futhi kwenza igama lakhe laziwa kabanzi. (Joshuwa 2:9, 10; 4:23, 24) Yebo, igama lakhe laphakanyiswa ngaphezu konkulunkulu bamanga baseGibithe abangenamandla, abahluleka ukukhulula abakhulekeli babo. Uma sasiye sema siphephile ngakuMose, ngokuqinisekile sasiyoshukunyiselwa ukuba sihlabelele: “Ngubani onjengawe-Jehova phakathi kwawonkulunkulu; ngubani onjengawe okhazimula ngobungcwele, owesabeka ngezibongo, owenza izimangaliso, na?” (Eksodusi 15:11) Imizwa enjalo iye yenanelwa phakathi namakhulu eminyaka kusukela lapho. Encwadini yokugcina yeBhayibheli, umphostoli uJohane uchaza iqembu lezinceku zikaNkulunkulu ezigcotshiwe ezikholekile: “Bahlabelela ingoma kaMose isigqila sikaNkulunkulu nengoma yeWundlu.” Iyiphi lengoma evelele? “Mikhulu iyamangalisa imisebenzi yakho, Jehova Nkulunkulu, Mninimandla onke. Zilungile futhi ziyiqiniso izindlela zakho, Nkosi yaphakade. Ubani ongeke ngempela akwesabe, Jehova, futhi akhazimulise igama lakho, ngoba wena wedwa uthembekile?”—IsAmbulo 15:2-4.
Ngakho nanamuhla kunabakhulekeli abakhululiwe abangagcini nje ngokwazisa imisebenzi kaNkulunkulu yokudala kodwa abazisa nemiyalo yakhe. Abantu kuzo zonke izizwe baye bakhululwa ngokomoya, bahlukaniswa nalelizwe elingcolile ngoba baqaphela futhi basebenzisa imiyalo kaNkulunkulu yokulunga. Minyaka yonke, amakhulu ezinkulungwane ayabaleka kulelizwe elonakele ayohlala enhlanganweni ehlanzekile neqotho, yabakhulekeli bakaJehova. Maduze nje, ngemva kokuba izahlulelo zikaNkulunkulu ezinjengomlilo sezikhishiwe enkolweni yamanga nakuso sonke lesi simiso esibi, bazophila phakade ezweni elisha lokulunga.

(Eks 15:20, 21) Yikho iBhayibhili lisithi uMiriyamu lo-Aroni babuza uMosi bathi: “Kanti lathi kazange [uJehova] asenze izikhulumeli zakhe na?” (Nan 12:2) Umphrofethi uMikha wathi uJehova wathuma ‘uMosi, u-Aroni loMiriyamu’ ukuthi bakhokhele ama-Israyeli ngesikhathi ephuma eGibhithe. (Mik 6:4) Lanxa uMiriyamu wayeke asetshenziswe nguNkulunkulu ukuthi adlulisele imilayezo ethile ebantwini bakhe, umsebenzi wakhe wawungalingani lokaMosi. Kungani uNkulunkulu akhetha ukondla ama-Israyeli ngezigwaca ehlane?
Ngemva kokuba ama-Israyeli ephume eGibhithe, uNkulunkulu wathumela kabili izigwaca eziningi ukuze zibe ukudla kwawo.—Eksodusi 16:13; Numeri 11:31.
Izigwaca yizinyoni ezincane ezingamasentimitha angaba ngu-18 ubude namagremu ayikhulu isisindo. Zichitha ingxenye ethile yonyaka ezindaweni eziningi entshonalanga Asia naseYurophu. Njengoba ziyizinyoni ezifudukayo, ebusika ziya eNyakatho Afrika nase-Arabhiya. Phakathi nohambo lwazo, zinqamula ugu loLwandle iMedithera olusempumalanga zidlule iNhlonhlo YaseSinayi.

UMose wabonisa ukuthi uyawathanda ama-Israyeli akubo. Ayazi ukuthi uJehova wayesebenzisa uMose ekuqondiseni abantu bakhe, ngakho ayeya kuye lapho enezinkinga ezihlukahlukene. Siyafunda: “Abantu babelokhu bemile phambi kukaMose kusukela ekuseni kwaze kwahlwa.” (Eksodusi 18:13-16) Cabanga indlela okumelwe ukuba wayekhathala ngayo uMose lapho elalele—amahora ngamahora—njengoba ama-Israyeli ayeza kuye nezinkinga zawo! Ayeyizonda inzuzo engalungile, okwakubonisa ukuthi anobuqotho obabuzowavimba angonakaliswa isikhundla. Ayengeke akusebenzise kabi ukwethenjwa kwawo ukuze azizuzise wona noma izihlobo noma abangane.

UMose naye wayelinganisela futhi ethobekile. “Ungavumeli Ukuba Izandla Zakho Zibe Buthakathaka”

(Mathewu 4:10) (OwesiBili) Akukho namunye wabakhulekeli bakhe okufanele asebenzise izithombe. (OwesiHlanu) Ukulalela kwabantwana abazali babo kuyaqhubeka kusebenza njengesisekelo sobunye bomkhaya, kuhambisana nezibusiso zikaJehova. Futhi yeka ithemba elimangalisayo elilethwa ‘yilomyalo wokuqala onesithembiso’! Akukhona nje kuphela “ukuze kube-kuhle kuwe” kodwa futhi ukuze “uhlale kade emhlabeni.” (Efesu 6:1-3) Njengoba siphila “ezinsukwini zokugcina” zalesimiso sezinto esibi samanje, ukulalela okunjalo kokwesaba uNkulunkulu kunikeza abantu abasha ithemba lokungafi.—2 Thimothewu 3:1; Johane 11:26.

Ubuphristi BamaKhristu Agcotshiweyo. UJehova wayethembise ama-Israyeli ukuthi angagcina isivumelwano ayesenze lawo ‘ayezakuba ngumbuso wabaphristi, lesizwe esingcwele.’ (Eks 19:6) Kodwa, ubuphristi bosendo luka-Aroni babuzaphela ngoba babuyisithunzi sobuphristi obungcono. Malutshwana amaJuda amukela uKhristu futhi lokho kwenza isizwe leso sehluleka ukuba ngumbuso wabaphristi lesizwe esingcwele. (Rom 11:7, 20) Ama-Israyeli ayengathembekanga kuNkulunkulu yikho wawaxwayisa esebenzisa umphrofethi wakhe uHosiya, wathi: “Njengoba likwalile ukwazi, lami ngiyalala njengabaphristi bami; ngoba kaliwunakanga umthetho kaNkulunkulu wenu, lami angiyikubanaka abantwana benu.” (Hos 4:6) UJesu laye watshela abakhokheli abangamaJuda wathi: “UMbuso kaNkulunkulu lizawuthathelwa uphiwe isizwe esithela izithelo zawo.” (Mat 21:43) Lanxa kunjalo, uJesu Khristu wayengaphansi koMthetho ngesikhathi esasemhlabeni yikho wayekwazi ukuthi ubuphristi bosendo luka-Aroni babusasebenza. Umnikazi wesigqili wayengasoze ajeziswe nxa kuyikuthi isigqili sakhe sasingafa ngemva kwelanga elilodwa kumbe amabili ngemva kokutshaywa ngoba lokho kuyabe kutshengisa ukuthi wayengahlosanga ukusibulala. Kwakungasilo cala ukuthi ajezise isigqili sakhe ngoba ‘sasiyimpahla yakhe.’ Yikho umuntu wayengasoze aphongusukela isigqili sakhe asibulale ngoba kwakuzabe kufanana lokuthi ubhidliza impahla yakhe futhi lokho kwakuzakwenza alahlekelwe kakhulu. Nxa isigqili sasingafa ngemva kosuku olulodwa kumbe ezimbili, kwakungasoze kucace ukuthi sibulewe yikutshaywa kumbe ngokunye nje. UJehova uyakuqakathekisa ukuphila kwabantu bonke okugoqela lokomntwana ongakazalwa. EMthethweni awunika uMosi, uJehova waveza ukuthi nxa amadoda angathi esilwa abulale umfazi ozithweleyo loba umntwana osesiswini, ayesiba lecala lokubulala. UJehova Ufuna Ukuba ‘Uphephe Futhi Uphile’
UMthetho wawubuye ube nezijeziso lapho izilwane ezifuywayo zilimaze abantu. Uma inkunzi ihlabe umuntu yambulala, umnikazi wayo kwakumelwe ayibulale ukuze abanye abantu bahlale bephephile. Ngenxa yokuthi wayengeke ayidle inyama yayo noma ayidayisele abanye ukuze bayidle, ukubulala leyo nkunzi kwakusho ukulahlekelwa okukhulu. Ake sithi inkunzi ilimaze umuntu kodwa umnikazi wayo angayiqaphi. Kwakwenzekani? Uma kamuva leyo nkunzi ibulala umuntu, yona nomnikazi wayo babeyobulawa. Kungani Kufanele Uzinikezele KuJeova?
Ukuzinikezela kobuKristu kuyindaba engathí sina. Kungaphezu kokuba nje ukuzibophezela. Nokho, ukuzinikezela kusizuzisa kanjani? Ukuze sicacise lokhu, ake sicabangele indlela ukuzibophezela okuzuzisa ngayo ebuhlotsheni babantu. Ake sibheke isibonelo sobuhlobo obuphakathi kwabangane. Ukuze umuntu aqhubeke engumngane, kumelwe amukele umthwalo wemfanelo wokuba umngane. Lokho kuhilela ukuzibophezela—ukuzizwa unesibopho sokukhathalela umngane wakho. Obunye bobuhlobo obuhle kakhulu okukhulunywa ngabo eBhayibhelini obukaDavide noJonathani. Baze benza nesivumelwano sokuthi bayohlale bengabangane. (Funda eyoku-1 Samuweli 17:57; 18:1, 3.) 5 UMthetho uNkulunkulu awunika u-Israyeli usitshela ngobunye ubuhlobo abantu ababezuza kubo ngokuzibophezela. Uma isigqila sasinenkosi elungile futhi sifuna isiqinisekiso sokuthi sasiyohlale singesayo, sasingenza nayo isivumelwano esiphakade nesibophayo.
