Likhona Na Ithando Lamambala?
Umtjhado akusi sivumelwano sethando lokuzikhuja. Ithando ngilo elikhamba phambili emtjhadweni wobuKrestu. Kodwana mhlobo bani wethando loyo? Kghani ngileli elilawulwa mithethokambiso yeBhayibheli? (1 Jwa. 4:8) Lithando elinjengeliphakathi kwamalunga womndeni? Namkha lithando labangani abatjhideleneko? (Jwa. 11:3) Kghani lithando eliphakathi kwendoda nomfazi—ithando leenthandani? (IzA. 5:15-20) Eqinisweni, nakuzakuthiwa abantu bayathandana, kufuze babe nayo yoke imihlobo yethando okukhulunywe ngayo le. Ithando liba mnandi lokha nalibonakaliswa ngezenzo. Ngikho-ke kuqakathekile bona abantu ababili abatjhadileko kungakafaneli bona bavumele imisebenzi yangamalanga ibadlele nesikhathi sokuthandana! Abantu nabathandana ngendlela leyo, bavikela umtjhadwabo bawenze uthabise bewuqine nokuqina. Kanti-ke emasikweni lapho umuntu akhethelwa khona umlingani womtjhado, lokho kungenze indoda nomfazi bangabonani kangako bekube lilanga lomtjhado, yeke, ukululukelana kokuthi sifika nini isikhathi sokutjengisana ithando nokutjelana amagama amnandi, kungaliqinisa ithando labo, kwenze nomtjhadwabo uphumelele.
Ukuthandana kwabantu ababili abatjhadileko kunomunye godu umphumela okarisako. IKosi uSolomoni yathembisa intombi yeTjhunemi “imitiya yegolide kanye namancina wesiliva.” Wathi nasekambongelela wathi muhle “inga yinyezi” ‘ukhanya njengelanga.’ (Ngom. 1:9-11; 6:10) Intombi le yahlala ithembekile esokaneni layo elingumelusi. NamaKrestu angakatjhadi angafunda okunengi eNgomeni kaSolomoni le, khulukhulu kilabo abasafuna umuntu abangamtjhada. Intombi le beyingamthandi uSolomoni. Yabe yafungisa nezinye iintombi zeJerusalema yathi: “Ngithembisani . . . bona angeze nazamazisa namkha nivuse ithando lingakakhanuki ukuvuka.” (Ngom. 2:7; 3:5) Yawatjhwiso yini amezwi la? Yawatjho ngombana akusikuhle ukukarwa nanyana ngimuphi umuntu odlulako. Nje-ke ngikho umKrestu ohlongoza ukutjhada kufuze abekezele alinde umuntu azomthanda ngokusuka ehliziyweni.

Ukuqakatheka Kobuhle Bangaphakathi
Likhona Na Ithando Lamambala?
Iimbongelelo zethando ezisengomeni le aziqaliseli ebuhleni bangaphandle kwaphela. Khewumuzwe godu umelusi lo ukuthi uthini ngamezwi wentombakhe. (Funda iNgoma yeeNgoma 4:7, 11.) Uthi iindebe zomlomakhe “zithonta iluju.” Ukutjhwiso yini lokho? Ukutjhwiso kukuthi iluju liba sudu khulu lokha navane lisathonta ekhekheni lakhona kuneluju esekhe labetjhwa mumoya. Nakathi, “ibisi neluju kungaphasi kwelimu lakho” utjho ukuthi amezwakhe amnandi kuhle kweluju nebisi. Yeke, umelusi nakathi emntazanenakhe lo, “umuhle ngakho koke . . . Akunasici nakancani kuwe,” kuyakhanya ukuthi bekangakhulumi ngobuhle bangaphandle kwaphela.

Umbono KaNkulunkulu Ngokuhlanzeka Kokuziphatha
Umgcini wobuqotho wesithathu kwakuyintombi engumShulamiti. Njengoba yayisencane futhi iyinhle, ayigcinanga ngokukhanga umfana ongumalusi kodwa yakhanga nenkosi ecebile yakwa-Israyeli, uSolomoni. Kuyo yonke indaba emnandi elandiswe esiHlabelelweni seziHlabelelo, umShulamiti wahlala emsulwa, kanjalo wahlonishwa yilabo ayephakathi kwabo. USolomoni, nakuba le ntombi ingamvumanga, waphefumulelwa ukuba abhale indaba yayo. Umalusi eyayimthanda naye wakuhlonipha ukuziphatha kwayo okumsulwa. Ngesinye isikhathi wathi ‘yayinjengensimu ehluthulelweyo.’ (IsiHlabelelo 4:12) Kwa-Israyeli wasendulo, amasimu amahle ayeba nemifino emihle enhlobonhlobo, izimbali ezinephunga elimnandi nezihlahla ezinde. Amasimu anjalo ayevame ukubiyelwa ngothango noma udonga futhi kwakungenwa kuwo ngesango elihluthulelwayo kuphela. (Isaya 5:5) Kumalusi, ubumsulwa bokuziphatha komShulamiti nokuthandeka kwakhe kwakunjengensimu enjalo enobuhle obuyivelakancane. Wayemsulwa ngokuphelele. Imizwa yakhe yothando yayiyojatshulelwa ngumyeni wakhe wesikhathi esizayo kuphela.

Uhlobo Lobuhle Obubaluleke Kakhulu
Ingabe ubuhle bangaphakathi bungabakhanga abanye? UGeorgina, oseneminyaka ecishe ibe yishumi eshadile, uthi: “Kuyo yonke le minyaka umyeni wami ubelokhu engikhanga ngokwethembeka nangobuqotho bakhe kimi. Into ebaluleke kakhulu ekuphileni kwakhe ukuthokozisa uNkulunkulu. Lokhu kuye kwamenza waba umuntu ocabangelayo nonothando. Uyangicabangela ezinqumweni zakhe futhi ungenza ngizwe ukuthi uyangazisa. Ngiyazi ukuthi ungithanda ngempela.”
UDaniel, owashada ngo-1987, uthi: “Ngicabanga ukuthi umkami muhle. Angikhangwa ubuhle bakhe bangaphandle kuphela kodwa ubuntu bakhe obungenza ngimthande ngisho nakakhulu. Ucabanga ngabanye abantu ngaso sonke isikhathi futhi uthakazelela ukubabona bephatheke kahle. Unezimfanelo eziyigugu zobuKristu. Lokhu kwenze ukuba ngikujabulele ukuhlala naye.”
Kuleli zwe eligcizelela ukubukeka kwangaphandle, kudingeka sibone okungalé kwako. Kudingeka sibone ukuthi akulula, uma kungekhona ukuthi akwenzeki ukufinyelela lokho okuthiwa ukuba “muhle”—nokuthi inzuzo yako ilinganiselwe kakhulu. Kodwa, singakwazi ukuhlakulela izimfanelo ezifiselekayo ezisenza sibe nobuhle bangempela bangaphakathi. IBhayibheli lithi: “Ukukhanga kungase kube yinkohliso, nobuhle bungase bube yize; kodwa owesifazane owesaba uJehova nguye ozitholela udumo.” Ngokuphambene, imiBhalo iyaxwayisa: “Njengendandatho yegolide yasekhaleni empumulweni yengulube, unjalo owesifazane omuhle kodwa ofulathela ukuba nengqondo.”—IzAga 11:22; 31:30.
IZwi likaNkulunkulu lisisiza ukuba sazise “umuntu osithekile wenhliziyo ogqoke isambatho esingenakonakala somoya onokuthula nobumnene, ongowenani elikhulu emehlweni kaNkulunkulu.” (1 Petru 3:4) Ngempela, ubuhle obunjalo bangaphakathi bubaluleke ngaphezu kobuhle bangaphandle. Futhi wonke umuntu angabufinyelela.

USolomoni wavumela umntazana weTjhulami bona abuyele kwabo. Nabambona avela, abafowabo bomntazana lo bathi: “Ngubani lo ovela emmangweni, osame phezu kwesithandwa sakhe?” (Ngo 8:5a) Bebangalemuki ukuthi udadwabo bekathembeke kangangani ethandweni. Eminyakeni engaphambilini omunye wabafowabo wathi ngaye: “Sinodadwethu omncani, begodu akanamabele. Kuthiwani Ngokuya Emsemeni Ngaphambi Kobana Utjhade?
Ukuziphatha kuhle kusiza khulu umuntu omutjha abalekele imiphumela ebuhlungu. IBhayibheli likhuluma ngomntazana osese mutjha owahlala aziphethe kuhle nanyana ithando ebekanalo ngesokana lakhe belinamandla. Ngebanga lalokho, watjho ngokuzikhakhazisa ukuthi: ‘Ngiliboda, begodu amabelami anjengemibhotjhongo.’ Bekangasimnyango ‘ovuleka lula’ bona azithabise ngokuziphatha okumbi. Bekafana neboda eliqinileko elingakhweleki bulula! Umuntu Ongamlingisa—Umntazana WeTjhulami
Umntazana weTjhulami bekazi ukuthi kufuze acabange kuhle naziza eendabeni zethando. Wathi ebanganini bakhe “Fungani kimi . . . Ningalingi ukuvusa ithando kimi lingakakhanuki ukuvuka.” Umntazana weTjhulami bekazi ukuthi imizwa msinyana ingavala indlela yokucabanga kuhle. Walemuka ukuthi abanye bangamgandelela bona athandane nomuntu okangamlungeli. Ngitjho nendlela yena azizwa ngayo msinyana ingamenza angakghoni ukucabangisisa kuhle. Yeke waba ‘njengeboda.’—INgoma YeeNgoma 8:4, 10.
Kghani uqala ithando ngendlela umntazana weTjhulami ebekaliqala ngayo? Kghani ungalalela okusemkhumbulwenakho ingasi ehliziywenakho? (IzA 2:10, 11) Ngezinye iinkhathi abanye bangakugandelela bona uthandane nanyana wena ungakakulungeli. Nawe ngokwakho ungazifaka ngaphasi kwegandelelo elinjalo. Ngokwesibonelo, nawubona umsana nomntazana bakhamba babambene ngezandla, kghani uzizwa ukatelelekile ukwenza okufanako? Funda iNgoma yeeNgoma 8:6. Umutjho othi, ‘umlilo kaJah’ usitjela okunengi ngethando. Yeke, ithando lamambala ‘limlilo kaJah’ ngendlela yokuthi nguJehova uMsunguli walo. Wabumba umuntu ngomfanekiswakhe, wamenza wakghona nokuthanda. (Gen. 1:26, 27) Mhla uZimu aletha umfazi wokuthoma u-Eva ku-Adamu, amezwi ka-Adamu aba yikondlo izihlalele. Asingabazi nokuthi u-Eva wazizwa atjhidelene khulu no-Adamu ngombana ‘athethwe’ kuye. U-Isaya uqhubeka nesigijimi sakhe ngamazwi ashubile esizweni sakwaJuda: “Maye kuso isizwe esinesono, abantu abasindwa isiphambeko, inzalo eyenza okubi, amadodana achithayo! Bamshiyile uJehova, baye bamphatha ngendelelo oNgcwele ka-Israyeli, baphenduké bafulathela.” (Isaya 1:4) Izenzo ezimbi zinganqwabelana kuze kube sezingeni lokuba zifane nomthwalo osindayo nocindezelayo. Ngosuku luka-Abrahama uJehova wachaza izono zeSodoma neGomora ngokuthi ‘zinzima kakhulu.’ (Genesise 18:20) Manje kubonakala okufanayo kubantu bakwaJuda, ngoba u-Isaya uthi ‘basindwa isiphambeko.’ Ubuye ababize ngokuthi “inzalo eyenza okubi, amadodana achithayo.” Yebo, abantu baseJudiya bafana nezingane ezingamahlongandlebe. “Baphenduké bafulathela,” noma njengoba i-New Revised Standard Version ikubeka, “bahlukene ukwehlukana” noYise.

(IHubo 86:5) Uyena kuphela ongasusa izono zika-Israyeli “ezibomvu klebhu” azihlanze, azenze zibe “mhlophe njengeqhwa.” Akukho mzamo wabantu, akukho qhinga, mihlatshelo, noma imithandazo engasusa ibala lesono. Intethelelo kaJehova kuphela engageza isono sisuke. Leyo ntethelelo uNkulunkulu uyinikeza ngendlela emiswe nguye, ehlanganisa ukuphenduka okuqotho nokusuka enhliziyweni.
Leli qiniso libaluleke kakhulu kangangokuba uJehova uliphinda ngendlela esankondlo—izono “ezibomvu okwegazi” ziyoba njengoboya obusha, obungadayiwe, obumhlophe. UJehova ufuna sazi ukuthi ngempela unguMthetheleli wezono, ngisho nezimbi kangakanani, uma nje esibona ukuthi siphenduka ngobuqotho. Labo abakuthola kunzima ukukholelwa ukuthi lokhu kuyiqiniso kubona benza kahle ngokucabangela izibonelo ezinjengesikaManase. Wona kakhulu impela—iminyaka eminingi. Kodwa waphenduka futhi wathethelelwa. (2 IziKronike 33:9-16) UJehova ufuna ukuba sonke, kuhlanganise nalabo abaye benza izono ezimbi kakhulu, bazi ukuthi akukephuzi kakhulu ‘ukulungisa izindaba’ naye.

Yebo, namuhla abantu bakaNkulunkulu ababuthaneli entabeni engokoqobo enethempeli lamatshe. Ithempeli likaJehova eJerusalema labhujiswa amabutho amaRoma ngo-70 C.E. Ngalé kwalokho, umphostoli uPawulu wakwenza kwacaca ukuthi ithempeli laseJerusalema netabernakele elalandulelayo kwakufanekisela okuthile. Kwakumelela okuthile okungokomoya okukhulu ngokwengeziwe, ‘itende leqiniso, elamiswa uJehova, hhayi umuntu.’ (Heberu 8:2) Lelo thempeli elingokomoya liyilungiselelo lokukhulekela uJehova elisekelwe emhlatshelweni wesihlengo kaJesu Kristu. (Heberu 9:2-10, 23) Ngokuvumelana nalokhu, “intaba yendlu kaJehova” okukhulunywa ngayo ku-Isaya 2:2 imelela ukukhulekelwa kukaJehova okuphakeme nokumsulwa esikhathini sethu. Labo abamukela ukukhulekela okumsulwa ababuthaneli endaweni ethile engokoqobo; babuthana ngobunye ekukhulekeleni.

Maye Ngesivini Esingathembekile!
Kungakhathaliseki ukuthi u-Isaya uzihlabelelela ngokoqobo yini izilaleli zakhe lo mfanekiso noma cha, uyazikhanga ngempela. Cishe eziningi zijwayelene nomsebenzi wokutshala isivini, futhi incazelo ka-Isaya icacile, ingokoqobo. Njengabatshali bomvini namuhla, umnini-sivini akatshali imbewu yamagilebhisi, kodwa ‘ikhethelo,’ noma “umvini obomvu” osezingeni eliphezulu—ihlumela elithathwe komunye umvini. Kuyafaneleka ukuba atshale lesi sivini “eqeleni elithelayo,” endaweni esizochuma kuyo.
Kuwumsebenzi onzima ukwenza isivini sikhiqize. U-Isaya uchaza umnini-sivini ngokuthi ‘uyasimba, asuse amatshe’—umsebenzi oyisicefe nokhathazayo! Cishe usebenzisa amatshe amakhudlwana ukuze ‘akhe umbhoshongo.’ Ezikhathini zasendulo, imibhoshongo enjalo yayisetshenziswa njengendawo yabalindi ababeqapha izitshalo zingantshontshwa amasela nezilwane. Wakha nodonga lwamatshe lokubiyela izindawo okutshalwe kuzo isivini. (Isaya 5:5) Lokhu ngokuvamile kwakwenzelwa ukunqanda umhlabathi obalulekile ukuba ungaguguleki.
Esesebenze kanzima kangaka ukuze avikele isivini sakhe, umnini-sivini kufanele alindele ukuba siveze izithelo. Esalindele lokho, ugweda isikhamo sewayini. Kodwa ingabe isivuno esilindelekile siyabonakala? Cha, isivini sikhiqiza amagilebhisi asendle.

Maye Ngesivini Esingathembekile!
U-Isaya ubiza uJehova, umnini-sivini, ngokuthi “othandekayo wami.” (Isaya 5:1) U-Isaya angakhuluma ngoNkulunkulu ngendlela efudumele kanjena kuphela ngoba enobuhlobo obuseduze naYe. (Qhathanisa noJobe 29:4; iHubo 25:14.) Nokho, uthando lo mprofethi analo ngoNkulunkulu alulukhulu uma luqhathaniswa nothando uNkulunkulu analo ‘ngesivini’ sakhe—isizwe ‘asitshala.’—Qhathanisa no-Eksodusi 15:17; IHubo 80:8, 9.
UJehova ‘watshala’ isizwe sakhe ezweni laseKhanani wasinika imithetho nemiyalo, eyasebenza njengodonga lokusivikela ekonakalisweni ezinye izizwe. (Eksodusi 19:5, 6; IHubo 147:19, 20; Efesu 2:14) Ngaphezu kwalokho, uJehova wasinika abahluleli, abapristi nabaprofethi ukuba basifundise. U-Isaya wafanisa “indlu ka-Israyeli” nesivini kancane kancane esathela “amagilebhisi asendle,” noma ugqumugqumu obolile. (Isaya 5:2, 7) Amagilebhisi asendle mancane kakhulu kunalawo atshalwayo kodwa izinhlamvu zawo zinkulu kangangokuthi cishe lonke igilebhisi liyizinhlamvu. Ngeke ulenze iwayini ngamagilebhisi asendle noma uwadle—okuwuphawu olufanelekayo lwesizwe esihlubukayo esisithelo saso siwukwephula umthetho kunokuba sibonise ukulunga. Akuyena uMlimi wesivini owayenze ukuba lesi sithelo singabi nalusizo. UJehova wenza konke ayengakwenza ukuze enze lesi sizwe sithele. Wabuza: “Yini enye okusamelwe yenzelwe isivini sami engingakayenzi kuso kakade?”—Isaya 5:4.

Njengoba umvini ongu-Israyeli wawungatheli, uJehova waxwayisa ngokuthi wayezobhidliza udonga ayelwakhile olwaluvikela abantu bakhe. Wayengeke esawuthena noma awuhlakule umvini wakhe ongokomfanekiso. Kwa-Israyeli wasendulo lonke izwe kwakungelikaJehova. Umkhaya ngamunye wawunefa olinikwe uNkulunkulu, owawungase uliqashise kodwa ungalokothi ulidayise “phakade.” (Levitikusi 25:23) Lo mthetho wawuvimbela umhobholo, njengokungafuni ukuhlanganyela izindawo nabanye. Wawuvikela nemikhaya ekubeni idle imbuya ngothi. Nokho, ngenxa yobugovu, abanye kwaJuda babeyephula imithetho kaNkulunkulu ephathelene nempahla. UMika wabhala: “Bafisé amasimu futhi bawaqhwaga; nezindlu, bazithatha; baphambé indoda ewumqemane nabendlu yayo, umuntu nefa lakhe.” (Mika 2:2) Kodwa izAga 20:21 ziyaxwayisa: “Ifa litholakala ngokuhaha ekuqaleni, kodwa ikusasa lalo ngeke libusiswe.”
UJehova uthembisa ukuphundla la magovu inzuzo ayithole ngokungafanele. Izindlu abaziphuca abanye ngeke ‘zibe naye ohlala kuzo.’ Izindawo abazihahelayo ngeke zikhiqize lutho olutheni. Akushiwo ukuthi lesi siqalekiso siyogcwaliseka kanjani futhi nini. Cishe ngokwengxenye sibhekisela ezimweni ezaba umphumela wokudingiselwa eBabiloni okwakusazokwenzeka.—Isaya 27:10.

UJehova UNkulunkulu Usethempelini Lakhe Elingcwele
Masilalele kanye no-Isaya. “Ngaqala ukuzwa izwi likaJehova lithi: ‘Ngizothuma bani, ubani ozosiyela na?’ Ngathi: ‘Nangu mina! Thuma mina.’” (Isaya 6:8) Lo mbuzo obuzwa uJehova ngokusobala ufuna ukuba u-Isaya aphendule, ngoba akekho omunye umprofethi ongumuntu okulo mbono. Ngokuqinisekile uyisimemo sokuba u-Isaya abe isithunywa sikaJehova. Kodwa kungani uJehova ebuza ethi, “Ubani ozosiyela na?” Ngokushintsha isivumelwano esisebunyeni u-“ngi” asebenzise isivumelwano esisebuningini u-“si,” uJehova manje usehlanganisa nomunye umuntu okungenani oyedwa. Ubani? Akuyona yini iNdodana yakhe ezelwe yodwa, leyo kamuva eyaba umuntu uJesu Kristu? Ngempela, iyona le Ndodana uNkulunkulu athi kuyo, “Masenze umuntu ngomfanekiso wethu.” (Genesise 1:26; IzAga 8:30, 31) Yebo, eceleni kukaJehova emagcekeni asezulwini kuneNdodana yakhe ezelwe yodwa.—Johane 1:14.
U-Isaya akananazi! Kungakhathaliseki ukuthi umyalezo uthini, uphendula ngokushesha: “Nangu mina! Thuma mina.” Akabuzi nokuthi yini angase ayizuze ngokwamukela lesi sabelo. Umoya wakhe wokuzithandela uyisibonelo esihle kuzo zonke izinceku zikaNkulunkulu namuhla, ezithunywe ukuba zishumayele ‘izindaba ezinhle zombuso emhlabeni wonke owakhiwe.’ (Mathewu 24:14) Njengo-Isaya, zinamathela esabelweni sazo ngokwethembeka futhi ziyise ‘ubufakazi ezizweni zonke,’ naphezu kokungalaleli okusakazekile. Futhi ziya phambili ngokuqiniseka, njengoba kwenza u-Isaya, zazi ukuthi ukuthunywa kwazo kuvela egunyeni eliphakeme kunawo wonke.

Manje uJehova uchaza lokho u-Isaya okumelwe akusho nokuthi ukusabela kuyoba njani: “Hamba, uthi kulesi sizwe, ‘Yizwani ngokuphindaphindiwe, O nina bantu, kodwa ningaqondi; nibone ngokuphindaphindiwe, kodwa ningatholi lwazi.’ Yenza inhliziyo yalesi sizwe ibe lukhuni, wenze zona kanye izindlebe zabo zingasabeli, unameke amehlo abo ahlangane, ukuze bangaboni ngamehlo abo futhi bangezwa ngezindlebe zabo, nokuba inhliziyo yabo ingaqondi ukuze empeleni bangabuyi futhi bazitholele ukuphulukiswa.” (Isaya 6:9, 10) Ingabe lokhu kusho ukuthi u-Isaya kumelwe akhwele azehlele kumaJuda futhi awacasule, awaxabanise noJehova? Phinde! Laba abantu bakubo ka-Isaya, ahlobene nabo. Kodwa amazwi kaJehova abonisa indlela abantu abayosabela ngayo emyalezweni waKhe, kungakhathaliseki ukuthi u-Isaya uwufeza ngokwethembeka kangakanani lo msebenzi wakhe.
Iphutha likubantu. U-Isaya uzokhuluma nabo “ngokuphindaphindiwe,” kodwa ngeke bawamukele umyalezo noma baqonde. Iningi liyoba ntamo-lukhuni lingasabeli, njengokungathi liyizimpumputhe noma izithulu. Ngokuya kubo ephindelela, u-Isaya uzokwenza “lesi sizwe” sibonise ukuthi asifuni ukuqonda. Sizozibonakalisa ukuthi asifuni ukuba umyalezo ka-Isaya—umyalezo kaNkulunkulu—ungene ezingqondweni nasezinhliziyweni zaso. Yeka indlela okuyiqiniso ngayo lokhu ngabantu banamuhla! Abaningi babo bayenqaba ukulalela oFakazi BakaJehova njengoba beshumayela izindaba ezinhle zoMbuso kaNkulunkulu ozayo.

Lapho ecaphuna u-Isaya, uJesu wayebonisa ukuthi lesi siprofetho sasigcwaliseka osukwini lwakhe. Abantu bebonke babenesimo senhliziyo esifana nesamaJuda osuku luka-Isaya. Bazenza abangasiboni nabangasizwa isigijimi sakhe futhi nabo babhujiswa. (Mathewu 23:35-38; 24:1, 2) Lokhu kwenzeka ngesikhathi amabutho amaRoma ngaphansi kukaJenene Titus ehlasela iJerusalema ngo-70 C.E. futhi ecekela phansi umuzi nethempeli lawo. Yebo, ‘isikhathi sakamuva’ esabikezelwa u-Isaya yisikhathi senkonzo kaKristu yasemhlabeni. Ingxenye enkulu yokuphila kukaJesu kwasemhlabeni yaba seGalile. Inkonzo yakhe wayiqala esifundeni saseGalile futhi waqala khona ukumemezela: “Umbuso wamazulu ususondele.” (Mathewu 4:17) EGalile, wanikeza iNtshumayelo yakhe edumile yaseNtabeni, wakhetha abaphostoli bakhe, wenza isimangaliso sakhe sokuqala futhi waziveza kubalandeli bakhe abangaba ngu-500 ngemva kokuvuswa kwakhe. (Mathewu 5:1–7:27; 28:16-20; Marku 3:13, 14; Johane 2:8-11; 1 Korinte 15:6) Ngale ndlela, uJesu wagcwalisa isiprofetho sika-Isaya ngokudumisa “izwe lakwaZebuloni nezwe lakwaNafetali.” Yebo, uJesu akagcinanga kubantu baseGalile kuphela ukwenza inkonzo yakhe. Kuthiwani-ke ‘ngokukhanya okukhulu’ eGalile uMathewu akhuluma ngako? Nalokhu kwakuyingcaphuno yesiprofetho sika-Isaya. U-Isaya wabhala: “Abantu ababehamba ebumnyameni babone ukukhanya okukhulu. Ngokuqondene nalabo abahlala ezweni lethunzi elimnyama, ukukhanya kuye kwakhanya phezu kwabo.” (Isaya 9:2) Ekhulwini lokuqala C.E., amanga amaqaba ayesithibeze ukukhanya kweqiniso. Siye sathokoza phambi kwakho njengokuthokoza kwangesikhathi sokuvuna, njengalabo abajabulayo lapho behlukanisa impango.” (Isaya 9:3) Ngenxa yomsebenzi wokushumayela owawenziwa uJesu nabalandeli bakhe, abanhliziyo ziqotho baziveza, bazibonakalisa befisa ukukhulekela uJehova ngomoya nangeqiniso. (Johane 4:24) Eminyakeni engaphansi kwemine, izixuku zamukela ubuKristu. Ngosuku lwePhentekoste 33 C.E. kwabhapathizwa abayizinkulungwane ezintathu. Ngemva nje kwalokho, “inani lamadoda laba cishe izinkulungwane eziyisihlanu.” (IzEnzo 2:41; 4:4) Njengoba abafundi bebonakalisa ukukhanya ngentshiseko, “isibalo sabafundi saqhubeka siphindaphindeka kakhulu eJerusalema; isixuku esikhulu sabapristi saqala ukulalela ukholo.”—IzEnzo 6:7.
Njengalabo abathokozayo ngenxa yesivuno esikhulu noma abethabayo lapho kuhlukaniselwana impango eyigugu ngemva kokunqoba okukhulu empini, abalandeli bakaJesu bathokoza ngenxa yokwanda. (IzEnzo 2:46, 47) Ngokuhamba kwesikhathi, uJehova wenza ukuba ukukhanya kukhanye ezizweni. (IzEnzo 14:27) Ngakho abantu bazo zonke izinhlanga bathokoza ngokuthi base bevulelwe indlela yokuya kuJehova.—IzEnzo 13:48.

Imiphumela yomsebenzi kaMesiya ihlala njalo, njengoba sibona emazwini alandelayo ka-Isaya: “Ijoka lomthwalo wabo nenduku ephezu kwamahlombe abo, ubhoko lwalowo obaqhuba ukuba basebenze, uye wakuphihliza kwaba izicucwana njengasosukwini lukaMidiyani.” (Isaya 9:4) Emakhulwini eminyaka ngaphambi kosuku luka-Isaya, abakwaMidiyani babopha uzungu nabakwaMowabi ukuze banxenxele u-Israyeli esonweni. (Numeri 25:1-9, 14-18; 31:15, 16) Kamuva, abakwaMidiyani bahlukumeza ama-Israyeli ngokuwabhudubeza nangokuphanga imizana namapulazi awo iminyaka engu-7. (AbAhluleli 6:1-6) Kodwa uJehova, ngenceku yakhe uGideyoni, wawangquzula amabutho akwaMidiyani. Ngemva kwalolo ‘suku lukaMidiyani,’ abukho ubufakazi bokuthi abantu bakaJehova bake baphinda bahlupheka ezandleni zabakwaMidiyani. (AbAhluleli 6:7-16; 8:28) Maduze nje, uJesu Kristu, uGideyoni omkhulu, uzozijuqa izitha zanamuhla zabantu bakaJehova. (IsAmbulo 17:14; 19:11-21) Khona-ke, “njengasosukwini lukaMidiyani,” kuyoba nokunqoba okuphelele nokuhlala njalo ngamandla kaJehova, hhayi ngekhono lomuntu. (AbAhluleli 7:2-22) Abantu bakaNkulunkulu ngeke baphinde bahlupheke ngaphansi kwejoka lokucindezelwa!
Ukubonakaliswa kwamandla aphezulu akukhona ukukhazinyuliswa kwempi. UJesu ovusiwe uyiSikhulu Sokuthula, futhi uyoletha ukuthula kwaphakade ngokuqothula izitha zakhe. U-Isaya manje ukhuluma ngezivatho zempi njengokungathi zishiswe ngomlilo: “Yilelo nalelo wudlu lalowo odavuza kuze kundindizele futhi isiphuku esigingqwe egazini kuye kwashiswa kwaba ngukudla komlilo.” (Isaya 9:5) Ukundindizela okubangelwa ukudavuza kwamawudlu amasosha amashayo ngeke kuphinde kuzwakale. Izingubo ezinegazi zamaqhawe alukhuni ngenxa yokulwa ngeke ziphinde zibonakale. Ngeke iphinde ibe khona impi!—IHubo 46:9.

Umeluleki umuntu onikeza iseluleko. Ngesikhathi esemhlabeni uJesu Kristu wanikeza iseluleko esihle kakhulu. EBhayibhelini sifunda ukuthi “izixuku zakhexa ngendlela yakhe yokufundisa.” (Mathewu 7:28) UnguMeluleki okhaliphile nonozwela, osiqonda kahle kakhulu isimo somuntu. Iseluleko sakhe asigcini ngokukhuza nokujezisa. Ezikhathini eziningi siyafundisa futhi siyiseluleko sothando. Iseluleko sikaJesu sihle kakhulu ngoba sihlale sihlakaniphile, siphelele, singenaphutha. Uma silandelwa, siholela ekuphileni okumi phakade.—Johane 6:68.
Iseluleko sikaJesu asiveli nje engqondweni yakhe ekhaliphile. Kunalokho, uthi: “Lokho engikufundisayo akukhona okwami, kodwa kungokwalowo ongithumile.” (Johane 7:16) Njengoba kwakunjalo ngoSolomoni, uJehova uNkulunkulu unguMthombo wokuhlakanipha kukaJesu. (1 AmaKhosi 3:7-14; Mathewu 12:42) Isibonelo sikaJesu kufanele sikhuthaze abafundisi nabeluleki ebandleni lobuKristu ukuba ngaso sonke isikhathi basekele ukufundisa kwabo eZwini likaNkulunkulu.—IzAga 21:30.

Kusasele amakhulu eminyaka ngaphambi kwesikhathi sika-Isaya, abanye abalobi beBhayibheli abangamaHeberu bakhomba ekuzeni kukaMesiya, uMholi wangempela uJehova ayezomthumela ku-Israyeli. (Genesise 49:10; Duteronomi 18:18; IHubo 118:22, 26) Manje, ngo-Isaya, uJehova unezela eminye imininingwane. U-Isaya uyabhala: “Kumelwe kuphume ihlumela esiphunzini sikaJese; ezimpandeni zakhe ihlumela liyokhiqiza.” (Isaya 11:1; qhathanisa neHubo 132:11.) Elithi “ihlumela” libonisa ukuthi uMesiya uyoba inzalo kaJese ngendodana yakhe uDavide, eyagcotshwa ngamafutha njengenkosi yakwa-Israyeli. (1 Samuweli 16:13; Jeremiya 23:5; IsAmbulo 22:16) Lapho uMesiya weqiniso efika, leli “hlumela,” elivela endlini kaDavide, liyoveza isithelo esihle.
UMesiya othenjisiwe nguJesu. Umlobi wevangeli uMathewu wayebhekisela emazwini ka-Isaya 11:1 lapho ethi ukubizwa kukaJesu ngokuthi “umNazaretha” kwakugcwalisa amazwi abaprofethi. U-Isaya uthi ngoMesiya: “Umoya kaJehova kumelwe uhlale phezu kwakhe, umoya wokuhlakanipha nowokuqonda, umoya weseluleko nowamandla, umoya wolwazi nowokwesaba uJehova; futhi uyojabula ngokwesaba uJehova.” (Isaya 11:2, 3a) UMesiya ugcotshwa ngomoya ongcwele kaNkulunkulu, hhayi ngamafutha. Lokhu kwenzeka ngesikhathi uJesu ebhapathizwa, lapho uJohane uMbhapathizi ebona umoya ongcwele kaNkulunkulu wehlela kuJesu usesimweni sejuba. (Luka 3:22) Umoya kaJehova “wehlela phezu” kukaJesu, futhi unikeza ubufakazi balokhu lapho enza izinto ngokuhlakanipha, ngokuqonda, ngokuvumelana neseluleko, ngamandla nangolwazi. Kunalokho, uMesiya unokwesaba kwenhlonipho ngoNkulunkulu, unothando olunenhlonipho ngaye. Umuntu owesaba uNkulunkulu ufisa ‘ukwenza izinto ezimjabulisayo’ ngaso sonke isikhathi, njengoba uJesu enza. Lokhu akwenzekanga ngokushesha ngo-539 B.C.E. Noma kunjalo, kusobala namuhla ukuthi konke okwabikezelwa u-Isaya ngeBabiloni kuye kwagcwaliseka. IBabiloni “manje liyindawo yencithakalo enkulu, futhi liyinqwaba yezimvithi, futhi sekungamakhulu eminyaka linjalo,” kusho omunye umhlaziyi weBhayibheli. Ube esenezela: “Akwenzeki ukuba ubone le ndawo ungakhumbuli indlela eziye zagcwaliseka ngokunembe ngayo izibikezelo zika-Isaya noJeremiya.” Ngokusobala, akukho muntu ngosuku luka-Isaya owayengabikezela ukuwa kweBabiloni nokuba kwalo incithakalo ekugcineni. EBhayibhelini amakhosi ohlu lukaDavide afaniswa nezinkanyezi. (Numeri 24:17) Kusukela kuDavide kuqhubeke, lezo ‘zinkanyezi’ zabusela eNtabeni YaseZiyoni. Ngemva kokuba uSolomoni akhe ithempeli eJerusalema, igama elithi Ziyoni labe selibhekisela kuwo wonke umuzi. Ngaphansi kwesivumelwano soMthetho, wonke ama-Israyeli esilisa ayebophekile ukuba aye eZiyoni kathathu ngonyaka. Ngakho, yaba ‘intaba yomhlangano.’ Ngokuzimisela ukuba anqobe amakhosi aseJudiya futhi awasuse kuleyo ntaba, uNebukadinesari umemezela inhloso yakhe yokuzibeka ngaphezu kwalezo ‘zinkanyezi.’ Akanikezi uJehova udumo ngokuzinqoba. UJEHOVA angasebenzisa izizwe ukuze ajezise abantu bakhe ngenxa yobubi babo. Kodwa nalapho, akazithetheleli lezo zizwe ngonya lwazo olungadingekile, ukuzidla kwazo nenzondo ezinayo ngokukhulekela kweqiniso. Ngakho, kusasele isikhathi eside, uphefumulela u-Isaya ukuba alobe “isimemezelo ngeBabiloni.” (Isaya 13:1) Nokho, iBabiloni liyoba usongo esikhathini esizayo. Ngosuku luka-Isaya, i-Asiriya licindezele abantu bakaNkulunkulu besivumelwano. Libhubhisa umbuso wakwa-Israyeli osenyakatho lichithe nengxenye enkulu yakwaJuda. U-Isaya uyabhala: “UJehova wamabutho ufungile, ethi: ‘Impela njengoba nje ngicabangile, kumelwe kwenzeke kanjalo . . . ukuze ngiphule um-Asiriya ezweni lami futhi ngimnyathele ezintabeni zami; futhi ukuze ijoka lakhe limuke phezu kwabo futhi nawo kanye umthwalo wakhe usuke ehlombe labo.’” (Isaya 14:24, 25) Kungakabiphi u-Isaya ekhiphé lesi siprofetho, usongo lwe-Asiriya luyasuswa kwaJuda.

Siyogcwaliseka nini lesi siprofetho? Maduze nje. “Yileli izwi uJehova alikhuluma ngokuphathelene noMowabi ngaphambili. Manje uJehova ukhulumile, ethi: ‘Phakathi neminyaka emithathu, ngokweminyaka yesisebenzi esiqashiwe, inkazimulo kaMowabi nayo kumelwe ihlazeke ngesiyaluyalu esikhulu salo lonke uhlobo, labo abasalayo bayoba mbalwa kakhulu, ngeke babe namandla.’” (Isaya 16:13, 14) Ngokuvumelana nalokhu, kunobufakazi bemivubukulo bokuthi phakathi nekhulu lesi-8 B.C.E., uMowabi wahlupheka ngendlela edabukisayo futhi izindawo eziningi zakhona zasala zingenabantu. UTiglath-pileser III wabala noSalamanu wakwaMowabi phakathi kwababusi ababekhonza ngaphansi kwakhe. USaneheribi wathola inkokhiso evela kuKammusunadbi, inkosi yakwaMowabi. Amakhosi ase-Asiriya u-Esar-haddon no-Ashurbanipal abiza amaKhosi akwaMowabi uMusuri noKamashaltu ngokuthi ayizikhonzi zawo. Emakhulwini eminyaka adlule, abakwaMowabi baphela njengesizwe. Kuye kwatholakala amanxiwa emizi okucatshangwa ukuthi eyabakwaMowabi, kodwa buncane ubufakazi obusatholakele ngalesi sitha sika-Israyeli esake saba namandla.
