Kunini begodu kwenzeka njani ukuthi iJerusalema ‘livuke’ begodu liveze ukukhanya okungokomfanekiso? IJerusalema nethempeli lalo belimarubhi lokha amaJuda athunjelwe eBhabhiloni iminyaka ema-70 yoke. Ngemva kobana iBhabhiloni lithunjwe maMede namaPheresiya, ama-Israyeli ebekahlala eengcenyeni ezihlukahlukeneko zeBhabhiloni atjhaphuluka abuyela enarhenawo begodu ayokuvuselela nokulotjha kweqiniso. (Nerh. 13:27; Mal. 1:6-8; 2:13, 14; Mat. 15:7-9) Ngokukhamba kwesikhathi, abuye ala uMesiya, uJesu Krestu. (Mat. 27:1, 2) Ngo-70 C.E., iJerusalema nethempeli latjhatjalaliswa godu kwesibili.
UJehova wabikezela ngehlekelele le. (Dan. 9:24-27) Kuyakhanya ukuthi bekungasimnqophakhe ngeJerusalema elisephasini ukuthi lizalise zoke iimphorofido eziku-Isaya isahluko 60.
Kghani amezwi ka-Isaya azaliseka ngokuzeleko namhlanjesi? IJerusalema laphezulu ‘livuka’ ‘beliveza ukukhanya’ njani? Lakwenza lokho ngabantwana abazesiweko bephasini. Madanisa lokho okwabenzakalelako nalokho okuphorofidwe ngakho ku-Isaya isahluko 60.
AmaKrestu azesiweko bekufuze ‘avuke’ ngombana bekasebumnyameni lokha iinhlubuki zirhatjha amala ngabapostoli abahlongakalako. (Mat. 13:37-43) Yeke, athunjelwa eBhabhiloni eliKhulu, umbuso wephasi wekolo yamala. Abazesiweko bahlala ekudingisweni bekwaba ‘kuphela kwephasi,’ okwathoma ngo-1914. (Mat. 13:39, 40) Ngemva kwalokho, ngo-1919 atjhatjhululwa begodu msinyana athoma ukuveza ukukhanya ngokuthi atjhumayele iindaba ezimnandi zomBuso.b Eminyakeni edlulileko abantu abanengi beentjhaba ezihlukahlukeneko, bafumene ukukhanyokhu, kuhlanganise nalabo abaseleko baka-Israyeli kaZimu, ‘okumakhosi’ ekukhulunywa ngawo ku-Isaya 60:3.—IsAm. 5:9, 10.
Esikhathini esizako amaKrestu azesiweko, azokurhatjha ukukhanya kwakaJehova ngezinga elikhulu. Njani? Nakahlongakalako, azokuba yingcenye ‘yeJerusalema eliTjha’ namkha umakoti kaKrestu wabazii-144 000 okumakhosi nabaphristi.—IsAm. 14:1; 21:1, 2, 24; 22:3-5.
IJerusalema eliTjha lizokudlala indima eqakathekileko ekuzaliseni u-Isaya 60:1. (Madanisa u-Isaya 60:1, 3, 5, 11, 19, 20; nesAmbulo 21:2, 9-11, 22-26.) Njengombana iJerusalema elisephasini belingurhulumende ngesikhathi sakwa-Israyeli, neJerusalema eliTjha noKrestu, bazokuba ngurhulumende wephasini elitjha. IJerusalema eliTjha “lehla livela ezulwini kuZimu” njani? Ngokuthatha amagadango athinta iphasi. Abantu abasaba uZimu eentjhabeni zoke ‘bazokukhamba ngokukhanya kwalo.’ Bazokutjhatjululwa ekufeni nesonweni. (IsAm. 21:3, 4, 24) Umphumela uzokuba kubuyiselwa “kwazo zoke izinto” njengombana u-Isaya nabanye abaphorofidi babikezela. (IzE. 3:21) Ukubuyiselwa okukhulu kwathoma lokha uKrestu nakaba yiKosi begodu kuzokuphela nasele kuyokuphela ukuBusa kwakhe kwemiNyaka eyiKulungwana.
