25 In the ninth year of Zed·e·kiʹah’s reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, King Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar+ of Babylon came with all his army against Jerusalem.+ He camped against it and built a siege wall all around it,+ 2 and the city was under siege until the 11th year of King Zed·e·kiʹah.

39 In the ninth year of King Zed·e·kiʹah of Judah, in the tenth month, King Neb·u·chad·nezʹzar* of Babylon and all his army came to Jerusalem, and they besieged it.+

4 “And you, son of man, take a brick and put it in front of you. Engrave on it a city—Jerusalem. 2 Lay siege to it,+ build a siege wall against it,+ raise up a siege rampart against it,+ set up camps against it, and surround it with battering rams.+

21 For the king of Babylon stops to use divination at the fork in the road, where the two roads branch off. He shakes the arrows. He consults his idols;* he examines the liver. 22 The divination in his right hand is pointed toward Jerusalem, to set up battering rams, to give the word for slaughter, to sound the battle cry, to set battering rams against the gates, to throw up a siege rampart, to build a siege wall.+
