Sina na wicked enemy wey you no go fit win by yourself. We de sin everyday and we de die because of sin. (Rom. 5:12) But good news dey! With help from Jehovah, we fit win sin. In fact, Jehovah ready to save us from sin and death kpatakpata!

² For about 6,000 years now, Jehovah don de help us to fit be im friends even though say we get sin for body. Why? Because e love us. Jehovah don love us from the time wey e make us. Because e really love us so much, e don do plenty things to help us when we sin. God know say sin de bring death and e no want make we die. E want make we live forever. (Rom. 6:23) Na wetin e want for you be that. For this article, we go discuss three questions: (1) Which kind hope Jehovah give us even as we get sin for body? (2) Wetin some people for Bible do to be Jehovah friend even though say them get sin for body? (3) Wetin Jesus do to save us from sin and death?

WHICH KIND HOPE JEHOVAH GIVE US EVEN AS WE GET SIN FOR BODY?

3. Wetin happen for garden of Eden?

³ When Jehovah create the first man and woman for this earth, e really want make them happy. E give them one beautiful garden, the gift of marriage, and better work to do. E tell them make them born children to fill the earth and make them make the whole earth paradise like the garden of Eden. But e give them one simple command. And e warn them say if them decide to disobey this command, them go die. We know wetin happen. One wicked angel wey no love God and no love humans tempt Adam and Eve make them disobey God. Adam and Eve do wetin that wicked angel talk. Them disobey Jehovah and this one show say them no trust Jehovah wey be their Papa wey don show them love. As we know, wetin Jehovah talk really happen. Because them disobey, Adam and Eve suffer for the rest of their life. Them start to grow old, sick, and last last, them die.—Gen. 1:​28, 29; 2:8, 9, 16-18; 3:​1-6, 17-19, 24; 5:5.

4. Why Jehovah really hate sin and why e de help us to fight against-am? (Romans 8:​20, 21)

⁴ Jehovah put this story for Bible so that we go fit understand something wey really dey important. This story de help us understand why Jehovah really hate sin, because sin de spoil our friendship with our Papa Jehovah, and de make us die. (Isa. 59:2) Satan hate Jehovah and humans. Na wetin make-am tempt Adam and Eve to sin and e still continue to do-am today. So when Satan succeed to make Adam and Eve sin, e fit don de think say e don succeed to spoil wetin Jehovah get for mind for us. But e no understand the kind love wey Jehovah get. Jehovah no change wetin e get for mind for the children of Adam and Eve. Because e really love humans, e no waste time to do something wey go give them hope. (Read Romans 8:​20, 21.) Jehovah know say some children of Adam and Eve go choose to love and obey-am and them go need help to fight against sin. So, Jehovah make-am possible for them to come near-am and to save them from sin and death. Wetin Jehovah do to make all this one possible?

5. Which time Jehovah give the first hope to save us from sin and death? Explain. (Genesis 3:15)

⁵ Read Genesis 3:15. Jehovah give humans the first hope when e talk wetin go happen to Satan. God talk say one “pikin” go come wey go save humans. Na this pikin go destroy Satan and comot all the problems wey Satan cause for the garden of Eden. (1 John 3:8) But Satan go first wound that pikin and that wound go make the pikin die. (Gen. 8:​20, 21) The way Jehovah accept the sacrifice wey people do show say even with the sin wey dey our body, we fit make Jehovah happy and near-am.b

7. Wetin we learn as Abraham ready to sacrifice im son to Jehovah?

⁷ Abraham get strong faith for Jehovah. Jehovah tell-am make e do something wey really hard. Jehovah tell-am say make e sacrifice im son Isaac to-am. This thing wey Jehovah tell-am go don worry Abraham well-well and e no easy for-am. Even with this one, Abraham obey Jehovah. When Abraham want kill Isaac, Jehovah stop-am. This example teach us wetin Jehovah go do for people wey get faith. Jehovah ready to give im only special Son as sacrifice! This one show the kind special love wey Jehovah get for us.—Gen. 22:​1-18.

8. Wetin we learn from the animal sacrifices wey the law command Israel people to de do? (Leviticus 4:​27-29; 17:11)

⁸ Plenty years after that time, for the Law wey Jehovah give Israel people, e tell them say make them de use animals do sacrifice to-am so that e go fit forgive their sins. WETIN JESUS DO TO SAVE US FROM SIN AND DEATH?

11. Why sinners de like come near Jesus?

¹¹ E no surprise us to know say even people wey de do bad things no de fear to come near Jesus! E really understand how them de feel and e dey kind to them. Them no de fear to follow-am talk. (Luke 15:1, 2) Jesus show them love and help them because them put faith for-am. (Luke 19:​1-10) Just like im Papa Jehovah, Jesus show people pity. (John 14:9) From the way Jesus talk to people and treat them, we learn say Jehovah de show pity and e love sinners and really want help them. Jesus want make people wey de sin change their ways and follow-am.—Luke 5:​27, 28.

12. Wetin Jesus teach us about im death?

¹² Jesus know say e go soon sacrifice im life. E pass one time wey Jesus tell im disciples say them go betray-am, and kill-am ontop torture pole. (Matt. 17:22; 20:​18, 19) E know say the sacrifice wey e go use im life do, go carry the sin of the world comot, just as John and the other prophets don talk. Jesus still teach say after e don give im life as sacrifice, e “go draw all kind of people” to imself. (John 12:32) So people wey put faith for Jesus and try to copy im example fit make Jehovah happy. If them do like that, for the end them go dey ‘free from sin.’ (Rom. 6:​14, 18, 22; John 8:32) So Jesus ready to suffer and die so that e go fit save us.—John 10:​17, 18.

13. How Jesus die, and wetin im death teach us about Jehovah? (Still check picture.)

14. Wetin Jesus sacrifice teach you?

¹⁴ The sacrifice of Jesus na the number one proof say Jehovah really love the children of Adam and Eve. Na proof say Jehovah really love you no be small. E allow make im special Son die, and e endure plenty pain so that e go fit save you from sin and death. (1 John 4:9, 10) Yes, Jehovah want help each of us to serve-am now even with the sin wey dey our body, and e ready to remove sin kpatakpata for future!

15. Wetin we must do if we want gain from the sacrifice of Jesus?

¹⁵ The sacrifice wey Jesus use im life do na gift from Jehovah. This one make-am possible for Jehovah to forgive our sins. But for Jehovah to forgive us, we need to do something. Wetin be that? John the Baptist and Jesus Christ imself give us the answer: “Make una repent, because the Kingdom wey dey heaven don near.” (Matt. 3:1, 2; 4:17) So we must repent if we want near Jehovah and if we want make e forgive our sin.
