Isifundo Ngenceba
UYESU usenokuba useseNayin, apho kutshanje avuse khona unyana womhlolokazi, okanye mhlawumbi utyelela nje kwesinye isixeko esikufuphi. UmFarisi ogama linguSimon unqwenela ukumondela ngokusondeleyo lo mntu wenza imisebenzi ephawuleka ngolu hlobo. Ngoko umema uYesu ukuba eze kufumana isidlo kunye naye.
Ejonga esi sihlandlo njengethuba lokuphumeza ubulungiseleli kwabo bakhoyo, uYesu uyasamkela isimemo, kwanjengokuba eye wazamkela izimemo zokudla nababuthi berhafu naboni. Kanti, xa uYesu engena endlwini kaSimon, akamkelwa ngobubele njengoko ngokuqhelekileyo iindwendwe zisamkelwa ngolo hlobo.
Njengoko kunxitywa iimbadada iinyawo ziba shushu yaye zibe mdaka ngenxa yokuhamba kwiindlela ezinothuli, yaye kulisiko lokubuk’ iindwendwe ukuhlamba iinyawo zeendwendwe ngamanzi apholileyo. Kodwa ezikaYesu iinyawo azihlanjwa xa efika. Akukho nabani na omamkela ngokumanga, nto leyo engummiselo oqhelekileyo wasentlalweni. Yaye akakhange anikwe naoli elisiko lokubonakalisa ukubuk’ iindwendwe ukuze athambise iinwele zakhe.
Ebudeni bexesha lesidlo, ngoxa iindwendwe zisesithebeni, umfazi ongamenywanga uyachwechwa angene egumbini. Esixekweni waziwa ngokuba uphila ubomi bokuziphatha okubi. Kunokwenzeka ukuba uzivile iimfundiso zikaYesu, kuquka isimemo sakhe esibhekiswa ‘kubo bonke ababulalekayo ukuba beze kuye ukuze bafumane ukuphumla.’ Ibe eshukunyiswe ngokunzulu koko akubonileyo nakuvileyo, ngoku ukhangela uYesu.
Lo mfazi ujikela ngasemva kuYesu esithebeni aze aguqe ngasezinyaweni zakhe. Njengokuba iinyembezi zakhe ziwela kwiinyawo zikaYesu, uzisula ngeenwele zakhe. Kwakhona uthabatha ioli enevumba elimnandi ekwihlala lakhe, yaye njengokuba ngobubele esanga iinyawo zikaYesu, uzigalela ioli. USimon ubukele kodwa akakholiswa koku. Uqiqa ngokuthi, “Lo mntu, ukuba ube engumprofeti, ange esazi ukuba ngumfazi ongubani na, oluhlobo luni na, lo umchukumisayo; ngokuba ungumoni.”
Eyiqonda indlela acinga ngayo, uYesu uthi kuye: “Hina, Simon, ndinendawo yokuthetha kuwe.”
“Thetha, Mfundisi” uphendula ngelitshoyo.
UYesu uqalisa ngokuthi, “Kwaye kukho mboleki-mali uthile, enabantu ababini abanamatyala kuye; omnye wayenetyala leedenariyo ezimakhulu mahlanu, omnye ke zimashumi mahlanu. Bakuba ke bengenanto yokuhlawula, usuke wabaxolela bobabini. Khawutsho ke, nguwuphi na kubo oya kumthanda ngokungaphezulu?”
USimon, mhlawumbi enomoya wokungakhathali ngenxa yokungafaneleki okucacileyo kwalo mbuzo kule meko, uthi, “Ndiba ngulowo uxolelwe ngokungaphezulu.”
UYesu uthi, “Wahlule walungisa.” Yaye ke eguqukela emfazini, uthi kuSimon: “Uyambona na lo mfazi? Ndingene endlwini yakho, akundinikanga manzi eenyawo zam; ke yena uzinyele iinyawo zam ngeenyembezi, wazisula ngeenwele zentloko yakhe. Akundanganga wena; ke yena, kuseloko ndangenayo, akayekanga ukuzanga kakhulu iinyawo zam. Intloko yam akuyithambisanga ngaoli; ke yena iinyawo zam uzithambise ngamafutha aqholiweyo.”
Ngaloo ndlela lo mfazi uye wanikela ubungqina benguquko esuk’ entliziyweni ngenxa yokuziphatha kwakhe kakubi kwangaphambili. Ngoko uYesu uqukumbela ngelithi: “Ngenxa yoko ndithi kuwe, Izono zakhe uzixolelwe, bezizininzi; ngokuba uthande kakhulu; ke yena oxolelwe kancinane, uthanda kancinane.”
UYesu akakungxengxezeli okanye akakubethi ngoyaba nangayiphi na indlela ukuziphatha okubi. Kunoko, esi siganeko sityhila indlela abaqonda ngokunemfesane ngayo abantu abenza iimpazamo ebomini kodwa abathi ke babonakalise ukuba balusizi ngenxa yazo baze ngoko beze kuKristu ukuze abanike ukuphumla. Enikela ukuphumla kokwenyaniso kulo mfazi, uYesu uthi: “Zixolelwe izono zakho . . . Ukholo lwakho lukusindisile, hamba ngoxolo.” Luka 7:36-50; Mateyu 11:28-30.
