Uyamazi Na UThixo Omnqulayo?

Ukunqula UThixo Ongaziwayo
Phantse iwaka lezigidi zabantu beecawa zeNgqobhoko libizelwa ukuba lizokunqula uThixo elingenakumqonda. Lizifumana likwimeko efana naleyo yamaSamariya amandulo, uYesu awathi komnye wawo: “Nina maSamariya ninqula eningakwaziyo.” (Yohane 4:22, New International Version) Kwakutheni ukuze uYesu abe nokuthetha loo nto?
Kwinkulungwane yesibhozo Ngaphambi kweXesha Eliqhelekileyo, ubukumkani basentla bezizwe ezilishumi zakwaSirayeli nekomkhulu labo eliyiSamariya boyiswa ngama-Asiriya, yaye amaSirayeli amaninzi asiwa eAsiriya nakweminye imimandla eyayoyisiwe. Kamva, ukumkani waseAsiriya wathumela abantu abaninzi aboyiswayo, ekuphawuleka ukuba babesuka eBhabhiloni, ukuba baye kummandla wakwaSirayeli owaziwa ngokuba yiSamariya. Ewe, amaSamariya ayemoyika uYehova. Ade amkela nenxalenye yeLizwi lakhe—iPentatike, okanye iincwadi ezintlanu zokuqala zeBhayibhile. Kodwa axuba unqulo lukaYehova nonqulo lobuxoki lwaseBhabhiloni. Yaye yayingamaSamariya anjalo la uYesu wathi ngawo: “Nina ninqula eningakwaziyo.” Ayemazi uYehova, kodwa akazange alamkele lonke ilizwi lakhe. Yaye ayengamnquli uThixo “ngoMoya nangenyaniso.”—Yohane 4:22, 23.
Ngaba amalungu eecawa zeNgqobhoko akazifumani ekwimeko enjalo? Ayamazi uThixo, kodwa amaninzi kuzo ayavuma ukuba akamazi ngenene. Akunakho ukuba ungakukhathaleli oku, kuba uYesu wathi: “Bubo ke obu ubomi obungunaphakade, ukuba mabakwazi, wena okuphela koThixo oyinyaniso, naye uYesu Kristu omthumileyo.”—Yohane 17:3.
Yiyiphi imfundiso eye yathi ngokukhethekileyo yawathintela amalungu eecawa zeNgqobhoko ekubeni amazi uYehova, “okuphela koThixo oyinyaniso”? Ngokungathandabuzekiyo, ‘yimfihlelo engaqondakaliyo’ kaBathathu Emnye. Kanti xa efunda iBhayibhile umntu akabi namvakalelo yokuba amaKristu angaphambili ayenqula ‘uThixo oyimfihlelo.’ Umpostile uYohane wathi “uNyana kaThixo . . . wasinika ingqondo, ukuze simazi oyinyaniso [uYehova uThixo]. Sikuye ke oyinyaniso, kuye uNyana wakhe uYesu Kristu.”—1 Yohane 5:20.
