“Isidlo esinesondlo yeyona ntswelo yoluntu isisiseko. . . . Ukuba asifumani kutya kwaneleyo, siya kufa.”

LOO nyaniso ingenakuphikiswa icaca gca xa ubona amadoda, amabhinqa nabantwana ababhitye bangamathambo abangenandlela yokwanelisa le “ntswelo yoluntu isisiseko.” Bambi bayayanelisa le ntswelo ukusa kumlinganiselo othile kodwa abondlekanga ngokulusizi. Kunjalo ke nangokutya kokomoya—inyaniso eseLizwini likaThixo, iBhayibhile. Bambi abantu abanayo nentwana yokutya kokomoya; bayalamba ngokomoya. Abanye abakukhathalele ukutya kokomoya abanako. Kuthekani ngawe? Ngaba wena utya ukutya okunesondlo ngokomoya? Okanye ngaba uyazilambisa ngokomoya? Kubalulekile ukuba sinyaniseke kwiziqu zethu kulo mbandela kuba ukutya kokomoya kuyimfuneko ngakumbi kunokutya kokwenyama.—Mateyu 4:4.
Ukutya Okukwenza Ukhule Ngokomoya
Incwadi ethi Food and Nutrition, exubusha ngokubaluleka kokudla okunentswane, inikela izizathu ezithathu zokuba simele sitye ukutya okunesondlo. Esokuqala kukuba ukutya kuyimfuneko kuthi ukuze “sikhule size sincedisane neeseli zomzimba zingadodobali msinya.” Ubusazi na ukuba mhla ngamnye wobomi bakho, izigidi zezigidi zeeseli zomzimba wakho ziyafa yaye kufuneka zithatyathelw’ indawo zezinye? Ukutya okunesondlo kuyimfuneko ukuze ukhule kakuhle uze ulondoloze umzimba wakho.
Kukwanjalo nangokomoya. Ngokomzekelo, xa umpostile uPawulos wayebhalela ibandla lase-Efese, wabek’ umnwe kwindlela ekuyimfuneko ngayo ukutya kokomoya okunesondlo kumKristu ngamnye ukuze abe ‘yindoda epheleleyo.’ (Efese 4:11-13) Xa sizondla ngokufanelekileyo ngokudla kokomoya okunentswane, asifani nabantwana ababuthathaka, abangama-athalala, abasesichengeni seengozi ngamaxesha onke. (Efese 4:14) Kunoko, siyakhula sibe ngabantu abakhulu abomeleleyo, sikwazi ukulwela ukholo lwethu kuba ‘sondliwe ngamazwi okholo.’—1 Timoti 4:6.
Ngaba nawe unjalo? Ngaba ukhulile ngokomoya? Okanye ngaba usengumntwana ngokomoya—usesichengeni, uxhomekeke ngokupheleleyo kwabanye yaye akukwazi ukuzithwala zonke iimbopheleleko zobuKristu ngokupheleleyo? Liyaqondakala elokuba, bambalwa kuthi abanokuvuma lula ukuba bangabantwana ngokomoya, kodwa kufanelekile ukuba sizihlolisise ngenyameko. Ayenjalo namanye amaKristu athanjisiweyo enkulungwane yokuqala. Nangona ayefanele abe “ngabafundisi,” akwazi aze akulungele ukufundisa abanye okuthethwa liLizwi likaThixo, umpostile uPawulos wabhala wathi: “Nisafuna kwakhona uthile wokunifundisa ukususela ekuqaleni izinto eziziziqalelo zezibhengezo ezingcwele zikaThixo; yaye nisuke naba njengabo kufuneka ubisi kubo, kungekhona ukutya okuqinileyo.” Ukuba ufuna ukukhula ngokomoya, yiba nomdla wokutya kokomoya okuqinileyo nokunesondlo. Musa ukwaneliswa yinembe nje kuphela ngokomoya!—Hebhere 5:12.
Kwakhona ukutya kokomoya kuyafuneka ukuze silungise nawuphi na umonakalo obangelwa ziimvavanyo zamihla le zeli hlabathi likhohlakeleyo. Ezi mvavanyo zinokusigqiba amandla ngokomoya. Kodwa uThixo unokuwahlaziya loo mandla. UPawulos wathi: “Asiyeki, kodwa kwanokuba umntu esinguye ngaphandle uyachithakala, ngokuqinisekileyo umntu esinguye ngaphakathi wenziwa mtsha kwakhona imihla ngemihla.” (2 Korinte 4:16) Yiyiphi indlela ‘esenziwa batsha imihla ngemihla’ ngayo? Enye yazo, kungokuzondla ngeLizwi likaThixo ngokufundisisa iZibhalo neempapasho ezisekelwe eBhayibhileni ngokobuqu nanjengeqela.
Ukutya Kokusinika Amandla Ngokomoya
Ukutya kukwayimfuneko “ukuze sivelise ubushushu namandla.” Ukutya kunika imizimba yethu izibaso ukuze isebenze kakuhle. Ukuba asizondli, asiyi kuba namandla. Ngokomzekelo xa ukutya kwethu kungenayo i-iron sisenokuziva sidiniwe yaye sicubhukile. Ngaba ubanjalo maxa wambi kwizinto zokomoya? Ngaba uba nengxaki yokusingatha imisebenzi ehambisana nokuba ngumKristu? Bambi abazibanga bengabalandeli bakaYesu Kristu bayadinwa kukwenza okuhle, yaye abanamxhino kwimisebenzi yobuKristu. (Yakobi 2:17, 26) Ukuba uphawula ukuba nawe unjalo, usenokuzinyanga ngokuphucula ukutya kokomoya okutyayo okanye uzondle ngakumbi ngokutya kokomoya.—Isaya 40:29-31; Galati 6:9.
Musa ukukhohliselwa ekubeni ungakukhathaleli ukutya kokomoya. Obunye bobona bumenemene uSathana abusebenzisileyo kangangeenkulungwane kukwenza abantu bacinge ukuba akuyomfuneko ukufunda iBhayibhile baze bazuze ulwazi oluchanileyo kuyo. Usebenzisa iqhinga elidala elalisetyenziswa yimikhosi ehlasela izixeko zotshaba—yayizivimba ukutya zibhuqwe yindlala de zinikezele. Kodwa yena uye wongezelela kweli qhinga. Ukhohlisa abo “abarhangqileyo” ukuba bazilambise ngoxa benentabalala yokutya kokomoya. Alimangalisi ngoko elokuba emaninzi amaxhoba awahlaselayo!—Efese 6:10-18.
Ukutya Kokusiphilisa Ngokomoya
Ngokutsho kwencwadi ethi Food and Nutrition, isizathu sesithathu sokuba ukutya kuyimfuneko kukuba “kunik’ impilo emzimbeni . . . yaye kuthintela izifo.” Ayikhawulezi icace indlela okuluncedo ngayo ukutya okunesondlo empilweni. Xa sigqiba kutya isidlo esinesondlo, asifane sithi, ‘Intliziyo yam (okanye izintso okanye izihlunu, njalo njalo) zitsho zaphila.’ Ukanti, xa kunokuqengqeleka iintsuku ungatyi ibonakala ngoko nangoko imiphumo empilweni yakho. Yiyiphi loo miphumo? Enye incwadi yezamayeza ithi: “Idla ngokuba mibi gqitha: uba lutywantsi, ube lilifa leentsholongwane, uphelelwe ngamandla okanye ungabi namdla wokwenza nantoni na.” AmaSirayeli akha agula ngolo hlobo ngokomoya kangangexesha elithile. Umprofeti uIsaya wathi ngawo: “Yonke intloko iyafa, yonke intliziyo inobulwelwe; kuthabathele enkwalini yonyawo kwesa entloko, akukho ndawo iphilileyo.”—Isaya 1:5, 6.
Ukutya kokomoya okunesondlo kusinika amandla okuxhathisa obo bulwelwe bokomoya kunye nemiphumo yeentsholongwane zokomoya. Ulwazi ngoThixo lusigcina siyimiqabaqaba ngokomoya—ukuba siyazondla ngalo! UYesu Kristu wakha wachaza indlela abantu abaninzi bexesha lakhe abangazange bafunde ngayo kooyisemkhulu ababengakukhathalelanga ukuzondla ngokomoya. Nabo babengafuni kuzondla ngeenyaniso awayezifundisa. Waba yintoni umphumo? UYesu wathi: “Intliziyo yaba bantu iye yaba lukhuni, ibe ngeendlebe zabo baye beva abasabela, yaye baye bawavala amehlo abo; ukuze bangaze babone ngamehlo abo kwaye beve ngeendlebe zabo baze bafumane ingqiqo yako ngeentliziyo zabo baze babuye, ndize ndibaphilise.” (Mateyu 13:15) Abaninzi kubo abazange bancedwe ngamandla aphilisayo eLizwi likaThixo. Babegulel’ ukufa ngokomoya. Kwanamanye amaKristu athanjisiweyo aba ‘buthathaka yaye ayimilwelwe.’ (1 Korinte 11:30) Ngamana asinakuze sikujongele phantsi ukutya kokomoya uThixo asinika kona.—INdumiso 107:20.
Ukungcoliswa Ngokomoya
Ngaphandle nje kwengozi yokungondleki ngokomoya, kukho nenye ingozi ekufuneka siyilumkele—ukutya esikutyayo kusenokuba kunokungcola. Ukuzondla ngeemfundiso ezingcoliswe ziimbono zobudemon kunokusityhefa ngokulula njengokutya ukutya kokwenyama okuneentsholongwane okanye okunetyhefu. (Kolose 2:8) Akusoloko kulula ukubona ukutya okunetyhefu. Omnye umthombo uthi: “Maxa wambi ukutya kusenokubonakala kusakh’ umzimba kanti kuzeliswe ziintsholongwane zezifo.” Ngoko kuhle ukuba sihlolisise umthombo wokutya kokomfuziselo esikutyayo, sikhumbula ukuba olunye uncwadi, njengeencwadi zabawexuki, lusenokuba luneemfundiso ezingezozazibhalo neentanda-bulumko. Zimbi iindawo ezivelisa ukutya zide zixokise abathengi bazo ngokubhala gama limbi kwimveliso yazo. Ngokuqinisekileyo sisenokulindela ukuba uSathana, umkhohlisi omkhulu, enze okufanayo. Ngoko ke, qiniseka ukuba ukutya kokomfuziselo ukufumana kumthombo othembekileyo, ukuze uhlale ‘uphilile elukholweni.’—Tito 1:9, 13.
UThomas Adams, umshumayeli wenkulungwane ye-17, wathi ngabantu bexesha lakhe: “Bazombele amangcwaba ngamazinyo abo.” Ngamanye amazwi babebulawa zizinto ababezitya. Qiniseka ukuba oko ukutyayo akukubulali. Funa ukutya kokomoya okunesondlo. “Yini na ukuba nilinganisele imali ngento engesonka?” wabuza oko uYehova uThixo kwabo babezibanga bengabantu bakhe xa baphethukela kubafundisi nabaprofeti bobuxoki. “Phulaphulani kum, ninyameke, nidle okulungileyo, umphefumlo wenu uxhamle ukutyeba. Thobani iindlebe zenu, nize kum; yivani, uphile umphefumlo wenu.”—Isaya 55:2, 3; thelekisa uYeremiya 2:8, 13.
Intabalala Yokutya Kokomoya
Ngokuqinisekileyo ukutya kokomoya akunqongophalanga. Kunjengokuba uYesu Kristu waprofetayo, unodidi lwekhoboka elithembekileyo neliyingqondi elixakekileyo linikela ‘ukutya ngexesha elifanelekileyo’ kuye nabani na okufunayo. (Mateyu 24:45) Esebenzisa umprofeti uIsaya, uYehova wathembisa wathi: “Yabonani, abakhonzi bam baya kudla, ke nina niya kulamba. . . . Abakhonzi bam baya kumemelela ngokuchwayitha kwentliziyo.” Enyanisweni, wabathembisa nangentabalala yokutya abo bakufunayo. “UYehova wemikhosi uya kuzenzela zonke izizwe isidlo sezinto ezityebileyo . . . isidlo sewayini egcinwe ngeentsipho, sezinto ezityebileyo ezinomongo.”—Isaya 25:6; 65:13, 14.
Noko ke, khawucingisise ngoku: Sisenokubulawa yindlala nokuba sinentabalala yokudla! Enoba sinokutya okuninzi, sisenokungondleki ukuba asikutyi oko kutya. IMizekeliso 26:15 iyichaza ngolu hlobo le meko: “Ivila lifaka isandla salo esityeni, yindiniso ukusibuyisela kwasemlonyeni walo.” Hayi indlela okulusizi ngayo oko! Nathi ngokufanayo sisenokonqena ukuzibhokoxa ekufundisiseni iLizwi likaThixo neempapasho zeBhayibhile ezenzelwe ukusinceda sizondle ngokutya kokomoya. Okanye sisenokuziva sidinwe gqitha ukuba singalungiselela okanye sibe nenxaxheba kwiintlanganiso zebandla lamaKristu.
Ukutya Ngendlela Efanelekileyo
Ngoko, sinezizathu ezininzi zokuzimisela ukutya ngendlela efanelekileyo. Noko ke, liyinyaniso elokuba abanye bayakucuntsula ukutya kokomoya, bambi bazilambisa ngokupheleleyo. Oku kufana nabantu abangakukhathaleleyo ukutya okunentswane de babe sengxakini kamva ebomini. Incwadi ethi Healthy Eating ichaza isizathu sokuba sisenokungakukhathaleli ukutya ngendlela efanelekileyo, nangona sisazi ukuba ukutya okunesondlo kubalulekile ukuze siphile: “Ingxaki ilele ekubeni [xa usitya ngendlela engafanelekanga] akukhathazwa yimpilo ngoko nangoko, akufumani miphumo ikhawulezileyo njengaleyo yaxa unqumla indlela ngokungakhathali. Kunoko, impilo yakho isenokuya inikezela ngokunikezela, iintsholongwane zisenokudakasa kuwe, amathambo akho aqalise ukuthamba, uphile kade xa unenxeba naxa unesifo esithile.”
Maxa wambi xa sekunzima ngenene omnye usenokufana nebhinqa elinesifo sokoyika ukutyeba (anorexia nervosa). Liyazixelela ukuba limele libe yingcathu ekutyeni, licinge ukuba lisempilweni ngokupheleleyo, nangona lona liphela. Ekugqibeleni alifuni nokukubona ukutya. Enye incwadi yezamayeza ithi: “Iyingozi gqitha loo nto.” Ngoba? “Nangona inqabile into yokuba umguli abulawe yindlala ngokoqobo akondleki ngendlela elusizi yaye usenokuguliswa naziintsholongwane ezingeyongozi.”
Elinye ibhinqa elingumKristu lavuma lathi: “Kangangeminyaka emininzi ndandisazi ukuba ndimele ndizilungiselele ngokuthe rhoqo iintlanganiso ndenze nofundisiso lobuqu kodwa ndandingakwazi ukwenza oko.” Ekugqibeleni lenza iinguqulelo ukuze libe ngumfundi okhutheleyo weLizwi likaThixo, kodwa lakwenza oko xa laliqonda ukuba imeko yalo ingxamele ukuba maxongo.
Ngoko ke, yamkela icebiso elanikelwa ngumpostile uPetros. Yibani “njengeentsana ezisandul’ ukuzalwa,” yaye “yakhani ulangazelelo lobisi olungangxengwanga lwelizwi, ukuze ngalo nikhulele elusindisweni.” (1 Petros 2:2) Ewe, “yakhani ulangazelelo”—hlakulelani umnqweno onzulu—wokuzalisa iingqondo neentliziyo zenu ngolwazi lukaThixo. Kwakhona abantu abakhulileyo ngokomoya kufuneka baqhubeke bewulondolozile loo mnqweno. Musani ukuvumela ukudla kokomoya kube ‘yeyona nto isetyenziswa kakubi kwizinto esinazo.’ Yityani ukutya okunesondlo ngokomoya, nize ningenelwe ngokupheleleyo kuwo onke “amazwi aphilileyo” aseLizwini likaThixo, iBhayibhile.—2 Timoti 1:13, 14.
