I wen hang in dea fo do eryting Jesus . . . wen trus me fo do.” (2 Tim 4:6-8) Paul wen make da smart choice fo use his life fo serve Jehovah an he wen kno fo shua Jehovah wuz happy wit him. We like make smart choices so we can make Jehovah happy too. How we can do dat?

2. Wat mean fo live by fait?

² Talking about himself an odda faitful Christians, Paul wen say, “We live by fait, not by da tings we see.” (2 Cor 5:7, NWT.) Wat Paul wuz trying fo say? Wen somebody live by da tings he see, he make choices ony by wat he see, hea, an feel. But wen somebody live by fait, wen he make choices, he tink about wat Jehovah like. An he trus dat Jehovah goin bless him if he lissen.​—Songs 119:66; Heb 11:6.

Wit dose kine jobs, da worka can pay fo da tings he need eryday an still yet have money fo save on da side. An wit odda jobs, da pay iz ony nuff fo cova da basics fo da family like food, one place fo live, an clothes. Wen we choose wat kine job we goin do, of course we goin figga how much money we goin make. But if dass da ony ting somebody tink about, dey probly ony living by da tings dey see.

He tell, “Jehovah wen hea my prayas an wen help me find one job dat let me pionea. Now I stay real happy fo have one job dat let me spen moa time fo serve Jehovah an my braddahs.”

⁹ Wat should we do if we see dat da job we get now make um hahd fo us live by fait? Try look wat wen happen to Trésor from Congo. He tell, “My new job wuz unreal. I wuz making three times wat I wen make befoa an plenny peopo wen respeck me.” But cuz Trésor wuz always working ovatime, he wen miss plenny meetings. He wen get presha fo lie an cova up shady tings da business wen do. Trésor wanted fo quit but he wen worry dat he no would have one job. Wat wen help him? He tell, “Habakkuk 3:17-19 wen help me fo see dat even if I quit my job an make less money, Jehovah wuz goin take kea me. So I wen quit.” Den he tell, “Plenny bosses tink dat fo one good paying job, peopo goin do anyting even give up time wit dea family or time fo dea worship. I happy dat I wen proteck my relationship wit Jehovah an my family. One year layta, Jehovah wen help me find one good job dat pay enuff fo take kea wat I need an fo have moa time fo serve him. Wen we put Jehovah firs in oua life, sometimes maybe we ony goin have litto bit money, but Jehovah goin take kea us.” If we trus wat Jehovah tell an wat he promise, we goin keep living by fait an he goin bless us.

WHO WE CHOOSE FO MARRY

10. Wen we choosing who fo marry, wat we gotta be keaful not fo do?

Wen one sistah tink about marrying one braddah, maybe she goin tink about how he look, how he ack, how oddas look him, how he hando money, if he gotta take kea peopo in his family, an if he make her feel happy.b All dese tings iz importan. She wen tink about how dis choice wuz goin affeck her frenship wit Jehovah. She wen cut da guy outa her life an wen keep busy doin tings fo Jehovah.
