“Ungithanda Ukudlula Lokhu?”

(Jwanisi 21:1-3) Ngemva kwalokhu uJesu waziveza godu ebafundini, eLwandle leThibheriyasi. Waziveza nganasi indlela. 2 Bekuhlangene uSimoni Pitrosi, uTomasi (obekuthiwa liWele), uNathaniyeli weKana yeGalile, amadodana kaZebediya nabanye babafundi bakhe ababili. 3 USimoni Pitrosi wathi kibo: “Ngisayokuthiya iinhlambi.” Bathi kuye: “Sikhamba nawe.” Baphuma bangena ngesikepeni, kodwana phakathi nobusukobo akhenge babambe litho.

Kodwana nasele uluphele, uzokuthabulula izandla zakho begodu omunye umuntu uzokumbathisa, akuse lapho ungafuni khona.” 19 UJesu watjho lokhu ukutjengisa indlela uPitrosi azokufa ngayo aphazimulise uZimu. (Jwanisi 20:17) UJesu wathi kuye: “Lisa ukungibamba, ngombana angikakhuphukeli kuBaba. Kodwana khamba uye kubafowethu uthi kibo, ‘Ngikhuphukela kuBaba, uYihlo, kuZimami, uZimenu.’”

Ezinye zithi amezwi wokuthoma wesiGirigi bewaqalwa njenganqotjhiswe kuJesu. Nanyana kunjalo, umnqopho wamezwi athi, “Kosami, Zimami” uzwisiseka kuhle ngokomongo wemiTlolo ephefumulelweko. Kodwana khamba uye kubafowethu uthi kibo, ‘Ngikhuphukela kuBaba, uYihlo, kuZimami, uZimenu.’” 18 UMariya Marhdalina wayokutjela abafundi wathi: “Ngiyibonile iKosi!” Wabatjela lokho emtjele khona.

“Ibandla LobuKrestu Lifumana Ummoya Ocwengileko”

(IzEnzo 2:14) UPitrosi wasikima nabaliTjhumi naNye wakhuluma nabo ngelizwi elikhulu wathi: “Madoda weJudiya nani noke bahlali beJerusalema, yazini lokhu begodu lalelisisani amezwami.

Ngelanga lokuthoma lokuba khona kwebandla lobuKrestu ngomnyaka ka-33, abantu abayi-3 000 ebebasand’ ukubhajadiswa bebathandaza, baphana ngezinto begodu badla ndawonye. Bebakwenza ngaliphi ibanga? AmaJuda namaphroselithe beweze eJerusalema bona azokuhlala isikhathi esithileko agidinge uMnyanya wePentekoste. 17 Ibandla elisand’ ukuthonywa laqalana nengozi yokuthuselwa ebeyingaphakathi. Bekuyini lokho? Inengi labafundi elabhajadiswako belivakatjhele eJerusalema begodu belifuna ukufunda okunengi ngaphambi kokubuyela emakhaya. Abafundi ebebahlala eJerusalema bebazimisele ukusekela ngeemali bona kutholakale ukudla nezinye izinto. (IzE 2:44-46; 4:34-37) Nakusesenjalo, kwavela ubujamo obuthileko. Ngemva kokucabangisisa nokuthandaza ngendaba le, abapostoli bakhetha amadoda alikhomba bona atlhogomele ‘umsebenzi otlhogekako lo.’

(IzEnzo 7:58–8:1) Bamlahlela ngaphandle komuzi, ngemva kwalokho bamkghadlha ngamatje. Batjhumayela “Iindaba Ezimnandi NgoJesu”

16 Namhlanjesi amaKrestu anelungelo lokuhlanganyela emsebenzini owenziwa nguFlebhe. Kanengi amaKrestu akghona ukutjhumayela umlayezo womBuso ebantwini abahlangana nabo ngokungakahlelwa, nalokha nawasekhambweni. Esikhathini esinengi, ngokunqotjhiswa ziingilozi ahlangana nabantu abathembekileko. Lokhu akukafuzi kusimangaze ngombana iBhayibheli likubeka ebaleni ukuthi iingilozi zinqophisa umsebenzi wokutjhumayela ukwenzela bona umlayezo lo ufikelele “kizo zoke iintjhaba, iinkoro, amalimi nabantu.” (sAm 14:6) Kazi ngilokho uJesu akubikezela ukuthi iingilozi ngizo ezizokunqophisa umsebenzi lo. Ukufundwa KweBhayibheli

(IzEnzo 6:1-15) Emihleni leyo ngesikhathi abafundi banda, amaJuda akhuluma isiGirigi athoma ukunghonghoyila ngamaJuda akhuluma isiHebheru, ngombana abahlolokazi bawo bebangatjhejwa ekwabiweni kokudla kwaqobe langa. 2 Nje-ke abaliTjhumi namBili babizela isiqubuthu sabafundi ndawonye, bathi kiso: “Akukalungi ngathi ukutjhiya ilizwi lakaZimu bona siyokwaba ukudla ematafuleni. 3 Ngalokho bafowethu, zikhetheleni amadoda alikhomba akhulunyelwa kuhle hlangana nani, azele ummoya nokuhlakanipha, bona siwabeke phezu komsebenzi otlhogekako lo; 4 kodwana thina sizozinikela emthandazweni nemsebenzini welizwi.” 5 Amezwi lawo asithabisa soke isiqubuthu, begodu bakhetha uStefani, indoda ezele ukukholwa nommoya ocwengileko, bakhetha noFlebhe, uProkhorasi, uNikanori, uThimoni, uPharimenasi, noNikholawu, umphroselithe we-Anthiyokiya. 6 Babaletha ebapostolini; abapostoli bathandaza, ngemva kwalokho bababeka izandla. 7 Nje-ke, ilizwi lakaZimu laragela phambili lirhatjheka, nenani labafundi belisolo landa khulu eJerusalema; begodu isiqubuthu esikhulu sabaphristi saba makholwa. 8 UStefani, azele umusa kaZimu namandla, bekenza iimangaliso neembonakaliso ezikulu hlangana nabantu. 9 Kodwana kweza amanye amadoda avela esiqhemeni esibizwa ngokuthi yiSinagogi labaTjhaphulukileko, akunye namanye amaSirene nama-Alekzandriya, begodu akhamba namanye avela eSilisiya ne-Asiya, azokuphikisana noStefani. 10 Kodwana azange akghone ukujamelana nokuhlakanipha nommoya ebekakhuluma ngawo. 11 Ngemva kwalokho ahlohlozela amadoda athileko ngerhorhomejeni bona athi: “Simuzwe ahlambalaza uMosi noZimu.” 12 Aphehla abantu, abadala, nabatloli, beza kuye kungakalindeleki, bamthatha ngekani batjhinga naye eSanhedrini. 13 Baletha abofakazi bamala, bathi: “Indoda le isolo ikhuluma izinto ezimbi ngendawo ecwengileko le nangomThetho. 14 Ngokwesibonelo, simuzwe athi uJesu weNazaretha lo uzokugiriza indawo le begodu atjhugulule amasiko uMosi awadlulisele kithi.” 15 Njengombana boke ebebahlezi eSanhedrini bamrhudulele amehlo, babona ukuthi ubuso bakhe bebunjengobuso bengilozi.
