ANA OSAŴERENGEKA AMAZUNZIDWA, kumenyedwa, kapena kuphedwa pa amodzi mwa malo achiwawa koposa padziko lapansi​—panyumba! Ku Denver, Colorado, U.S.A., khanda la milungu 27 linabadwa nthaŵi yake yobadwira isanakwane. Mwana wamwamuna ameneyo anakhala ndi moyo, ndipo atakhala m’magetsi m’chipatala kwa miyezi itatu, anampereka kunyumba kwa makolo ake. Patapita milungu itatu, mwanayo anabwerera m’chipatala. Chifukwa? Ubongo wake unavulala kwambiri chifukwa chogwedezedwa mwamphamvu ndi atate wake. Atatewo ananyansidwa ndi kulira kwa khandalo. Mwanayo anachita khungu ndipo anapuŵala. Mankhwala amakono anali atampulumutsa atabadwa masiku ake asanakwane koma sanathe kumpulumutsa ku nkhanza za atate wake.

Ana osaŵerengeka amazunzidwa, kumenyedwa, kapena kuphedwa pa amodzi mwa malo achiwawa koposa padziko lapansi​—panyumba! Ena amanena kuti ana ochuluka okwanira mwina 5,000 amaphedwa chaka chilichonse ndi makolo awo mu United States mokha! Komatu tsokalo silimapeza ana okha! Malinga nkunena kwa magazini ya World Health, “kuzunzidwa kwa akazi ndi amuna awo ndiko kumavulaza akazi ambiri a msinkhu wobereka” mu United States. Nanga m’maiko ena? “Mkazi mmodzi mwa atatu mpaka kuposa theka la akazi amene anafunsidwa [m’maiko omatukuka] anati anamenyedwapo ndi amuna awo.” Inde, nkhanza zikuwonjezeka, makamaka panyumba.

Ena amanena kuti mwachibadwa anthu ngachiwawa. Pamene kuli kwakuti upandu wachiwawa wosiyanasiyana wachepa mu United States, uwo wawonjezeka pakati pa achinyamata. Ndipo ambiri ayamba kukonda chiwawa. Makampani atatu aakulu a wailesi zakanema anaŵirikiza chiŵerengero cha nkhani za upandu kaŵiri ndi kuŵirikiza katatu nkhani zokhudza mbanda. Inde, upandu ndi malonda aakulu! “Sikuti chiwawa timangochilekerera,” anatero katswiri wa zamaganizo Karl Menninger, “timaika nkhani zachiwawa pamasamba oyambirira a nyuzipepala zathu. Pokhala “mkulu wa ulamuliro wa mlengalenga,” Mdyerekezi akusonkhezera “mzimu wakuchita tsopano mwa ana a kusamvera,” kupangitsa dziko lapansi kukhala malo achiwawa chosaneneka.​—Aefeso 2:2.
