Gen. 9:3, 4: “Zonke izinambuzane eziphilileyo mazibe kukudla kuni; njengomfuno oluhlaza, ndininikile oko konke. Yinyama yodwa enomphefumlo wayo, enegazi layo, eningasayi kuyidla.”

Eneneni, ubungozi obubangelwa kukutofelwa kwegazi buyaphetshwa ngokusebenzisa le mixube. ‘Nina bantundini anikholelwa kutofelo lwegazi’
Usenokuphendula uthi: ‘Amaphephandaba aye apapasha amabali ngeemeko ezithile athe anemvo yokuba amaNgqina asenokufa ukuba akalamkeli igazi. Ngaba ucinga ngaloo nto? . . . Kutheni sinesi simo sengqondo nje?’ Mhlawumbi usenokongeza uthi: (1) ‘Uyamthanda na umfazi (indoda) wakho ngokwaneleyo kangangokuba ubungakuvuma ukumncamela ubomi bakho? . . . Kukwakho amadoda abubeka esichengeni ubomi bawo ngenxa yelizwe lawo, yaye ajongwa njengamakhalipha, akunjalo na? Kodwa kukho ubani ongaphezulu kunaye nawuphi na umntu okanye into apha emhlabeni, yaye lowo nguThixo. ‘Kuthekani ukuba ugqirha uthi, “Uya kufa ukuba akulitofelwa igazi”?’
Usenokuphendula uthi: ‘Ukuba imeko imbi ngenene, ngaba ugqirha unokuqinisekisa ukuba umntu ogulayo akayi kufa ukuba utofelwe igazi?’ Mhlawumbi usenokongeza uthi: ‘Kodwa kukho ubani onokuphinda amnike ubomi umntu, yaye lowo nguThixo. Akulivumi na elokuba, xa ujongene ngqo nokufa, ukumnikel’ umva uThixo ngokwaphula umthetho wakhe bekuya kuba sisigqibo esingafanelekanga? Mna okunene ndiyakholwa kuThixo. Unjalo na wena?
