Ukuphela Kwentiyo Ehlabathini Lonke

KWIMINYAKA enokuba ngamawaka amabini eyadlulayo, abantu abaliqela elincinane babengamaxhoba entiyo. UTertullian uchaza isimo sengqondo samaRoma ngakumaKristu okuqala: “Ukuba imvula ayini, ukuba kukho inyikima, ukuba kukho indlala okanye ubhubhani wesifo, kwakuye kunkqangazwe kwangoko kuthiwe, ‘AmaKristu mawasiwe ezingonyameni!’”

Nangona ayethiyiwe, amaKristu okuqala asixhathisa isilingo sokukuphindezelela ukuphathwa ngokungekho sikweni. KwiNtshumayelo yakhe yaseNtabeni edumileyo, uYesu Kristu wathi: “Nivile ukuba kwathiwa, Uze umthande ummelwane wakho, uluthiye utshaba lwakho. Ke mna ndithi kuni, Zithandeni iintshaba zenu, . . . nibathandazele abo banigxekayo banitshutshise.”—Mateyu 5:43, 44.

Yayisisithethe samaYuda esasivakaliswa ngomlomo esasifundisa ukuba ‘ukuthiya utshaba’ kwakuyinto elungileyo. Noko ke, uYesu wathi simele siluthande utshaba lwethu, kungekuphela nje umhlobo wethu. “Inkalipho yamabanjwa angamaNgqina kaYehova yandenza ndeyiseka ukuba ukholo lwawo lwalusekelwe eZibhalweni—yaye nam ndaba liNgqina. UErnst Wauer, iNgqina endadibana nalo kwinkampu yoxinaniso yaseNeuengamme, wandibongoza ukuba ndihlakulele isimo sengqondo sikaKristu. IBhayibhile ithi ‘wayesithi, etshabhiswa, angaphindezeli atshabhise, athi esiva ubunzima, angaphindezeli asongele; ke ubeyekele kulowo ugwebayo ngokobulungisa.’ (1 Petros 2:23) Ndazama ukwenza okufanayo, ukushiyela impindezelo ezandleni zikaThixo, onguMgwebi wezinto zonke.

“Kwiminyaka endayichithela enkampini ndafunda ukuba ngokufuthi abantu benza izinto ezingendawo ngenxa yokungazi. Asingabo bonke abalindi abangamaSS ababekhohlakele—omnye wasindisa ubomi bam. Ndakha ndahlaselwa ngamandla kukuhambisa kwesisu yaye ndibuthathaka kakhulu ukuba ndingahamba ukusuka emsebenzini ukuya enkampini. “Aba bantu babefuna ukuthandwa kanye njengam. Eneneni, yayiluthando nemfesane, nokukholosa ngoThixo, okwandenza ndakwazi ukuhlangabezana neemeko ezilusizi nesisongelo sokubulawa samihla le. Andinakuthi ndasinda ndingenawo nomkrwelo, kodwa amanxeba endandinawo ngaphakathi ayemancinane.”

Ububele asabubonakalisayo uMax kwiminyaka engama-50 kamva bungqina ubunyaniso bamazwi akhe. Zikho nezinye iimeko ezifanayo nekaMax. Wayenesizathu esivakalayo sokuyoyisa intiyo—wayefuna ukuxelisa uKristu. Abanye abaye bakhokela ubomi babo ngeZibhalo baye benza izinto ngendlela efanayo. USimone, waseFransi ongomnye wamaNgqina kaYehova, uchaza indlela awakufunda ngayo okuthethwa kukuba nothando lokungazingci.

“Umama, uEmma, owaba liNgqina ngaphambi nje kwemfazwe yehlabathi yesibini, wandifundisa ukuba ngokufuthi abantu benza izinto ezimbi ngenxa yokuba nolwazi oluncinane. Wandichazela ukuba, ukuba nathi siyabathiya, asingomaKristu okwenyaniso, ekubeni uYesu wathi sifanele sizithande iintshaba zethu sibathandazele nabo basitshutshisayo.—Mateyu 5:44.

“Ndikhumbula ingxubakaxaka eyavavanya oko wayekukholelwa. Ebudeni bokulawula kwamaNazi eFransi, uMama wabandezeleka kakhulu ngenxa yommelwane esasihlala naye. Waxela uMama kumaGestapo, yaye ngenxa yoko, umama wachitha iminyaka emibini kwiinkampu zoxinaniso zamaJamani, apho waphantsa wafa. Emva kwemfazwe, amapolisa aseFransi ayefuna ukuba uMama asayine iphepha elityhola eli bhinqa ngokusebenzisana namaJamani. Kodwa umama wala, esithi ‘uThixo nguMgwebi noMvuzi wokulungileyo nokubi.’ Kwiminyaka embalwa kamva, kwalo mmelwane wagulel’ ukufa ngenxa yomhlaza. Kunokumngcikiva ngelishwa lakhe, umama wachitha ixesha elininzi esenza iinyanga zokugqibela zobomi bakhe zingabi maxongo. Andisayi kuze ndikulibale oku koyiswa kwentiyo luthando.”

Le mizekelo mibini ibonisa amandla othando olulawulwa yimigaqo xa ubani ejamelene nokungabikho kokusesikweni. Noko ke, iBhayibhile ithi “ukuthanda kunexesha lako, ukuthiya kunexesha lako.” (INtshumayeli 3:1, 8) Kunokwenzeka njani oko?

Ixesha Lokuthiya

UThixo akayigwebi yonke intiyo. Ngokuphathelele uYesu Kristu, iBhayibhile ithi: “Wathanda ubulungisa, wathiya okungendawo.” (Hebhere 1:9) Noko ke, kukho umahluko phakathi kokuthiya ububi nokuthiya umntu obenzayo.

UYesu wamisela umzekelo wolungelelwano olufanelekileyo phakathi kothando nentiyo. Wayekuthiyile ukuhanahanisa, kodwa wazama ukubanceda abahanahanisi baguqule indlela ababecinga ngayo. (Mateyu 23:27, 28; Luka 7:36-50) Walugweba ugonyamelo, kodwa wabathandazela abo babembulala. (Mateyu 26:52; Luka 23:34) Yaye nangona ihlabathi lamthiya ngaphandle kwesizathu, wancama ubomi bakhe ukuze ihlabathi lifumane ubomi. (Yohane 6:33, 51; 15:18, 25) Wasishiyela umzekelo ogqibeleleyo wothando olulawulwa yimigaqo nentiyo yobuthixo.

Ukungabikho kokusesikweni kusenokusicaphukisa, njengoko kwaba njalo ngoYesu. (Luka 19:45, 46) Noko ke, amaKristu akanalo ilungelo lokuphindezela. UPawulos waluleka amaKristu aseRoma esithi: “Ningabuyekezi ububi ngobubi nakubani. . . . Ukuba kunokwenzeka, okukokwenu nina, hlalani ninoxolo nabantu bonke. Musani ukuziphindezelela . . . Musa ukweyiswa bububi; boyise ububi ngokulungileyo.” (Roma 12:17-21) Xa singavumi ukufukama intiyo okanye ukuphindezela ububi obenziweyo, uthando luyoyisa.

Ihlabathi Elingenantiyo

Ukuze intiyo iphele ehlabathini lonke, kumele kuguqulwe izimo zengqondo ezendeleyo kwizigidi zabantu. Kunokuphunyezwa njani oku? UNjingalwazi Ervin Staub uncomela okulandelayo: “Asibaxabisi abo sibenzakalisayo size sibaxabise abo sibancedayo. Njengoko sibaxabisa ngakumbi abantu esibancedayo yaye sifumana ulwaneliseko ngokuba luncedo, siye sizibone singabantu abakhathalayo nabaluncedo. Olunye usukelo lwethu lumele lube kukuyila amabutho oluntu anenxaxheba enkulu ekwenzeleni abanye izinto.”—The Roots of Evil.

Ngamanye amazwi, ukupheliswa kwentiyo kufuna ukuyilwa kwebutho loluntu elinabantu abafunda ukuthandana ngokuncedana, ibutho elinabantu abayilibalayo yonke intiyo ebangelwe likhethe, ubuhlanga nokuthand’ izwe. Ngaba likho ibutho loluntu elinjalo? Khawucinge ngamava endoda eyajamelana nentiyo ebudeni bokuqalisa kweMpucuko eTshayina.

“Xa kwaqalisa iMpucuko, safundiswa ukuba sasingamele silalanise ‘kumzabalazo nxamnye nocalucalulo.’ Utyekelo lokuba nentiyo lwalukho kuyo yonk’ indawo. Ndaba lilungu lombutho wabaLindi Ababomvu yaye ndaqalisa ukubhuqa yonke indawo ndifuna ‘iintshaba ezinocalucalulo’—kwanakwintsapho yam. Nangona ndandikwiminyaka yeshumi elivisayo ngoko, ndandisiba nesabelo xa kugqogqwa izindlu sikhangela ubungqina ‘botyekelo lokusichasa.’ Kwakhona ndaqhuba intlanganiso esidlangalaleni eyayichasa ‘umntu onxamnye nemvukelo.’ Kakade ke, maxa wambi ezi zityholo zazisekelwa kwintiyo yobuqu kunakwimibandela yezobupolitika.

“Ndabona abantu abaninzi—abancinane nabakhulu, amadoda nabafazi—besohlwaywa ngendlela eyayisiba qatha ngakumbi nangakumbi. Omnye wabafundisi-ntsapho bam—owayeyindoda elungileyo—wajikeleziswa ezitratweni ngokungathi wayesisaphuli-mthetho. Kwiinyanga ezimbini kamva omnye umfundisi-ntsapho ohloniphekileyo esikolweni sam wacholwa efile kuMlambo iSuzhou, yaye umfundisi-ntsapho wam wesiNgesi wanyanzelwa ukuba azixhome. Ndandothukile yaye ndididekile. Aba yayingabantu abalungileyo. Ukubaphatha ngolu hlobo kwakuphosakele! Ngoko ndawaqhawula onke amaqhina nombutho wabaLindi Ababomvu.

“Andiqondi ukuba esi siganeko sokuhlaselwa kweTshayina okwexeshana yintiyo kuphela kwaso. Kule nkulungwane kuye kwakho ukuqhambuka kwentiyo okuninzi. Noko ke, ndeyisekile ukuba uthando lunokuyoyisa intiyo. Yinto endizibonele ngokwam. Xa ndaqalisa ukunxulumana namaNgqina kaYehova, ndachukumiseka luthando lokwenene awayenalo ngabantu beentlanga neemvelaphi ezahlukeneyo. Ndikhangele phambili kwixesha laxa, njengoko iBhayibhile ithembisa, bonke abantu beya kube befunde ukuthandana.”

Ewe, ibutho lezizwe ngezizwe lamaNgqina kaYehova linikela ubungqina bokuba intiyo inokupheliswa. Enoba injani na imvelaphi yawo, amaNgqina azabalazela ukulithabathel’ indawo ikhethe ngokuhlonelana nokuphelisa yonke imizila yokuthand’ izwe okanye ubuhlanga. Esinye isizathu sokuphumelela kwawo kukuzimisela kwawo ukuxelisa uYesu Kristu ekubonakaliseni uthando olukhokelwa ngumgaqo. Esinye isizathu sikukuba akhangele kuBukumkani bukaThixo ukuba buphelise konke ukungabikho kokusesikweni okusenokuba kuyawathwaxa.

UBukumkani bukaThixo bukuphela kwendlela eqinisekileyo yokufumana ihlabathi elingenantiyo, ihlabathi elingasayi kuba nobungendawo esimele sibuthiye. Ekubeni iBhayibhile imchaza ‘njengamazulu amatsha,’ lo rhulumente wasezulwini uya kuqinisekisa ukuba ukuphelisile ukungabikho kokusesikweni ehlabathini. Uya kulawula phezu ‘komhlaba omtsha,’ okanye ibutho labantu elitsha eliya kuba lifundiswe ukuthandana. (2 Petros 3:13; Isaya 54:13) Le mfundo sele iqhubeka, njengoko amava kaMax, uSimone nabanye abaninzi engqina. Ibonisa inkqubo yokuphelisa intiyo noonobangela bayo eya kubakho ehlabathini lonke.

Ngomprofeti wakhe uIsaya, uYehova uchaza imiphumo yoko: “Ezo zinto aziyi kwenza bubi, aziyi konakalisa ezintabeni zam zonke ezingcwele; ngokuba ilizwe liya kuzala kukwazi uYehova, njengamanzi egubungele ulwandle.” (Isaya 11:9) UThixo uya kuba eyalele ukuba ipheliswe intiyo. Iya kuba lixesha lothando ngenene.
