Umkhawulo

Ilifa
Iinarha ezizuzwe njengelifa. Ilifa lamadodana ka-Israyeli balinikezwa nguJehova, owanikela uMosi imikhawulo yenarha. (Num 34:1-12; Jtj 1:4) Amadodana kaGadi, amadodana kaRubeni nesiquntu sekoro yakwaManase banikelwa isabelo sabo senarha nguMosi. Bafumana kwetjhumi njengesabelo sawo namkha ilifa lawo ngebanga lomsebenzawo. (Num 18:20, 21; 35:6, 7) Imindeni yanikelwa imisebenzi phakathi nendawo yekoro yawo. Njengombana imindeni ikhula namadodana afumana ilifa, inarha beyizokuhlukaniswa ibe ziingcenye ezincani njengombana isikhathi sikhamba.

Umkhawulo
Ngemva kokobana ifumbe sele iphosiwe begodu yatjengisa nokuthi ikoro izokuhlala kuphi, ngemva kwalokho bekuzokuqalwa ukuthi indawo ingangani. “Nizayaba ngefumbe ngokuya ngemindenenu. Umndeni omkhulu niwabele ilifa elikhulu kuthi omncani niwabele elincani. Omunye nomunye uzakuzuza ilifa ngokuya ngendlela ifumbe emwele ngayo. Ngendlela leyo nizakwabelana inarha ngokweenkoro zaboyihlo.” (Num 33:54) Isiqunto sefumbe malungana nendawo besingatjhuguluki kodwana amatjhuguluko bekangenziwa kuye ngokuthi indawo ingangani. Njeke isabelo sekoro yakwaJuda besisikhulu khulu kiso, ngalokho ikoro yakwaSimiyoni yafumana isabelo hlangana nelifa lekoro yakwaJuda.—Jtj 19:9.

Ngemva kwalokhu, kubonakala kwanga kwaba nokuthikameziseka endabeni yokuhlukaniswa kwenarha, njengombana ikampa yakwa-Israyeli itjengiswa isuka eGiligali iya eShilo. 19 Ngokuqinisekile, kulokhu esiye sakubona ngamehlo ethu, singasho ukuthi: “Akukho nelilodwa izwi kuwo wonke amazwi amahle uJehova uNkulunkulu wenu awakhulumile kini eliye laphutha. Agcwaliseke wonke kini. Akuphuthanga nezwi elilodwa kuwo.” (Joshuwa 23:14) UJehova ukhulula, avikele futhi anakekele izinceku zakhe. Sikhona yini isithembiso sakhe ongathi asigcwalisekanga ngesikhathi sakhe asimisile? Asikho. Ngokuhlakanipha, sithembela eZwini likaNkulunkulu elinokwethenjelwa.
20 Kuthiwani ngekusasa? UJehova uye wasitshela ukuthi iningi lethu lingaba nethemba lokuphila emhlabeni oguqulwe waba ipharadesi elijabulisayo. Abambalwa kithi banethemba lokubusa noKristu ezulwini. Kungakhathaliseki ukuthi sinaliphi ithemba, sinesizathu esizwakalayo sokuhlala sithembekile njengoJoshuwa. Luyeza usuku lapho ithemba lethu liyogcwaliseka khona. Bekunjani ukuba nojenerali weKanana nebutho lakhe enarheni? Ingoma kaDibhora iveza ukuthi ukukhamba bekungasakghoneki enarheni begodu besele kungasahlalwa eendaweni zemakhaya. UNkulunkulu unikele esandleni senu izikhulu zakwaMidiyani, o-Orebi noZebi; mina benginamandla okwenzani, uma kulinganiswa nokwenu, na?” (AbAhluleli 8:1-3) Ngamazwi akhethwe kahle nazolile, uGideyoni wagwema lokho okwakungaba yimpi eyinhlekelele phakathi kwezizwe. Kungenzeka ukuthi abesizwe sakwa-Efrayimi babezazisa futhi beziqhenya. Nokho, lokho akuzange kuvimbele uGideyoni ukuba alwele ukwenza kube nomphumela onokuthula. Ingabe singenza okufanayo?
Kubayini Ukuthobeka Kuqakatheke Kangaka?
15 UGidiyoni usibekela isibonelo esihle sokuthobeka. Ngelinye ilanga ingilozi kaJehova yafika kuye izomupha umsebenzi, uGidiyoni wazithoba wathi uvela ekorweni ephasi wakhumbula nobuthakathaka bakhe. (Khok. 6:15) Nokho wavuma ukuwenza umsebenzi awuphiwe nguJehova loyo, kodwana kokuthoma walinga ukuthola ukuthi umsebenzi loyo uzokutlhogani. Bese wathembela kuJehova bona awenze. (Khok. 6:36-40) Phela uGidiyoni bekanesibindi, kodwana wahlakanipha wenza nangokutjhejisisa. (Khok. 6:11, 27) Akhenge afune ukuthatha umsebenzi lo ngebanga lokuthi ufuna ukubonwa babantu. Hamba Ngezindlela ZikaJehova
9 Ukuze sibe abangane bakaNkulunkulu, kumelwe sibe ‘abathobekile engqondweni.’ (1 Pet. 3:8; IHu. 138:6) Ukubaluleka kokuthobeka sikubona kubaHluleli isahluko 9. Indodana kaGideyoni, uJothamu, yathi: “Kwathi ngesinye isikhathi imithi yahamba yayozigcobela inkosi.” Kuleso sahluko, kwakhulunywa ngomuthi womnqumo, umkhiwane nomvini. Le mithi yayimelele abantu ababefaneleka, kodwa abangazange bafune ukubusa ama-Israyeli akubo. Kodwa ijikijolo—elisetshenziselwa nje ukubasa—lamelela ubukhosi buka-Abhimeleki oqhoshayo, umbulali owayeshabashekela ukubusa abanye. Nakuba ‘azenza isikhulu phezu kuka-Israyeli iminyaka emithathu,’ washeshe wafa. (AbaHl. 9:8-15, 22, 50-54) Yeka ukuthi kungcono kangakanani ukuba ‘othobekile engqondweni’!

(Genesisi 37:4; 45:4, 5) Lokho kungenzeka kwarhelebha uJafta wasabela ngendlela eyathabisa uJehova. Phela into uJafta abafowabo abamenza yona beyibuhlungu tle! Kodwana ngebanga lokuthi bekangafuni ukusilaphaza ibizo lakaJehova athanda nabantu bakhe, indlela ebekazizwa ngayo beyingakaqakatheki khulu. (Khk 11:12, 13) UJafta akhenge azitjengise alisotja nje elinganalwazi kodwana bekamfundi womlando khulukhulu wendlela uZimu ebekasebenzelana ngayo nabantu bakhe. Akhenge avumelane nepikiswano yama-Amoni, bewatjengisa ukuthi (1) Ama-Israyeli akhenge ahlunguphaze ama-Amoni, bakwaMowabi, namkha bakwa-Edomi (Khk 11:14-18; Dut 2:9, 19, 37; 2Kr 20:10, 11; Khk 11:19-27); (2) Ama-Amoni bekangahlali enarheni okukhulunywa ngayo ngesikhathi ama-Israyeli ayihlula, ngebanga lokuthi beyisezandleni zamaKanana ama-Amori begodu uZimu bekanikele ikosawo uSirhoni nenarhakhe ezandleni zama-Israyeli; (3) Ama-Amoni akhenge aphikisane nokuhlala kwama-Israyeli eminyakeni ema-300 edlulileko; njeke, kungasiphi isizathu bangenza lokho nje?—Khk 11:19-27.

Ummakhe khewaba yingwadla ngaphambi kokuthi atjhade abe mfazi wesibili kaGiliyadi, njengombana noRarhabi khewaba yingwadla kodwana ngokukhamba kwesikhathi watjhada noSalmoni. (Khk 11:1; Jtj 2:1; Mat 1:5) Bona uJafta bekangasiyindodana ebelethelwe ngaphandle komtjhado kubonakala ngokuthi abafowabo bomfazi wokuthoma kaGiliyadi bamqotjha bona angatholi ingcenye yelifa. (Khk 11:2) Ngaphezu kwalokho, ekukhambeni kwesikhathi uJafta wamukelwa njengomrholi wabantu (ekubonakala kwanga abafowabo bakaJafta bebaphambili eburholini bakhe). Akhe siqale indaba kaManowarhi egade angewekoro yakwaDani, obekahlala emzini weTsora kwa-Israyeli wekadeni. Ingilozi kaJehova yatjela umfazi kaManowarhi oyinyumba bona uzokubeletha indodana. (Khk. 13:2, 3) Akunakuzaza ukuthi uManowarhi othembekileko nomkakhe bathaba khulu ngokuzwa lokho. Nokho, bekunezinto ezincamileko ezibatshwenyako. Ngalokho uManowarhi wathandaza wathi: ‘Awu Jehova, ngiyarabhela. Bengithi umuntu kaZimu, [uJehova] ebegade amthume kithi loya, akasikhambele godu ukuze asifunidse bonyana senzeni ngomsana ozokubelethwa lo.’ (Khk. 13:8) UManowarhi nomkakhe bebatshwenyeke ngokukhulisa umntwanabo. Akunakuzaza bona bafundisa umntwanabo uSamsoni imithetho kaZimu, begodu imizamwabo yaphumelela. USamsoni Unqoba Ngamandla KaJehova!
Njengoba uSamsoni ayeqhubeka ekhula, “uJehova waqhubeka embusisa.” (AbaHluleli 13:24) Ngolunye usuku uSamsoni waya kuyise nonina wafike wathi: “Kukhona owesifazane engimbonile eThimna emadodakazini amaFilisti, manje ngithatheleni yena abe ngumkami.” (AbaHluleli 14:2) Cabanga ngendlela okwabashaqisa ngayo lokho. Esikhundleni sokuba ikhulule ama-Israyeli kubacindezeli, indodana yabo ifuna ukwenza ubuhlobo nabacindezeli ngokushada nendodakazi yabo. Ukuthatha umfazi okhulekela onkulunkulu bamaqaba kwakungqubuzana noMthetho kaNkulunkulu. (Eksodusi 34:11-16) Ngenxa yalokho, abazali bayenqaba: “Yingoba engekho yini owesifazane phakathi kwamadodakazi abafowenu naphakathi kwabo bonke abantu bakithi, ukuba uze uyothatha umfazi kumaFilisti angasokile?” Nakuba kunjalo, uSamsoni uyaphikelela athi kuyise: “Ngithathele yena nje, ngoba nguye kanye olungile emehlweni ami.”—AbaHluleli 14:3.

USamsoni Unqoba Ngamandla KaJehova!
KuSamsoni, ‘wayelungile’ ngayiphi indlela lona wesifazane ongumFilisti? I-Cyclopedia kaMcClintock noStrong ayisikiseli ukuthi “wayenguphuma langa sikothe, enogazi futhi eyisimomondiya, kodwa wayelungile ngenxa yenjongo ethile noma ngomqondo othile.” Ngenxa yayiphi injongo? AbaHluleli 14:4 bachaza ukuthi uSamsoni “wayefuna ithuba lokulwa namaFilisti.” USamsoni wayemthandela lokho lona wesifazane. Njengoba uSamsoni ayekhula eba yindoda, “umoya kaJehova wamqhuba,” noma wamshukumisela ukuba enze okuthile. (AbaHluleli 13:25) Ngakho, ngumoya kaJehova owashukumisa uSamsoni ukuba enze isicelo sokuthola umfazi esizweni esingalindelekile futhi yiwo owawumshukumisa phakathi naso sonke isikhathi lapho ayengumahluleli kwa-Israyeli. Ingabe uSamsoni walithola ithuba ayelifuna? Okokuqala, ake sihlole indlela uJehova amqinisekisa ngayo ukuthi uyomsekela.
